I just took my daughter to see Happy Feet. The movie was great IMO - the best since Shrek. I have read a bunch of reviews from people who hated it because of the premise that the Penguins were losing their fish supply to over fishing by humans. I am baffled that people can politicize issues that are fact - like global warming, deforestastion, over fishing, etc. I mean, it is a kids movie and if we need Hollywood to teach our kids what the schools won't then is that not the sad commentary?

I heard it was terrible. They didn't say why, my friend just said he thought it was bad.

I've heard it is amazingly funny. My wife teaches 3rd grade and this is what the parents told her.

Which is about average for a kids animated flick. Most get in the 80's. Madagascar got a 55%.

The story line was tough for me to follow it seemed to jump all over the place but it was funny and very entertaining. You almost have to take it from a kids point of view
