WOW, Sean Taylor sure has a nose for the football. IMO he is in the top 5 players in the NFL. Don't you agree???

I keep seeing him get burned on passing plays this year... not as reliable as last year but still one of the best hitters.

Top 5 athlete definitely but not top 5 player yet. I would personally take him over any other safety in the league because of his athletic skills BUT like most players he needs guys around him. I think Troy Vincent will help him a huge amount.

Don't think I would call him a top 5 yet. His play Sunday was great. If he had done the "right" thing and went down, we would likely have lost. Since he didn't and was lucky for the face-mask, he gave us the chance to win and win we did.

He's still young and looking for the big hit. Give him more time and he will begin to play smarter, choose the times when to lay the big hit and not, and become a true leader not so much vocally, but by his play....

I would have maybe said yes last year, but this year he has been struggling just a little bit.

He's definately been playing worse this year. Big step back imho.
But it's not for lack of trying, that's for sure.

He got burnt yesterday. Until he tightens up he will be top three. Ed Reed, Brian Dawkins, Troy Polamalu then Sean Taylor. Sean is by far the hardest hitter and is all around the most talented of the bunch. Right now I got to say Ed Reed and Troy are the two best. Brian Dawkins is the best safety in coverage.
