Drew Bledsoe In 2007??

First time poster here!

I want to put out the idea of bringing in Drew Bledsoe for a 2 year contract next year.

He knows Dallas inside and out and if we put together a "Hog" O-line infront of him, he can still deliver.

Still one of the best deep passers in the league when he has protection.

Would be a significant upgrade from Brunell.

Think Snyder will go after him?

Actually I like it. Dallas fans come on THN and try to get us to take their rejects to ensure they win at least 2 next year. Very clever, if somewhat obvious.

I'd rather have Drew Barrymore under center for the 'Skins than Drew Bledsoe.

He would be on the market next year, so Snydes could give a drat pick to Dallas for him.

Can never say never.

Exactly....I suspect Dallas will release him per his request and so he will probably be available without giving a draft pick.

With a solid O-line, Bledsoe can throw circles around Brunell.

I'd rather have Drew Carey

I'd rather have Drew Rosenhaus

I'd rather have Mark B...wait scratch that.

You're serious, aren't you?

BTW, the draft pick reference was a joke. It is a reference to our trading all our draft picks and often getting nothing, like giving a #3 for Duckett in the last year of his contract, and not playing him. Actually his point was we only want him if we can give up a draft pick to get him ;)

=D> Very good, yes my statement was a joke. (with a slight jab to the Skins Owner).

Honestly, bleedslow is probably looking at retirement.

With the current owner of the Redskins, anything is possible.

If you think he wouldn't sign Cowboys's used up garbage, see Dieon Sanders.

Hey, wasn't Boonell going to be released by the Jags, but we still felt the need to give up a very high 3rd round pick for him? Same thing for Duckett! We have a histort of giving draft picks for nothing.

While I do believe Bledsoe wood be an improvement over MB, it is kind of like strpping up from a Yugo to a Pinto (and yes I think this idea should go up in flames too)!

I'll bet we see Duckett on Sunday. Also I think alot of attention needs to be on our interior D-Line specifically Griffin and Salavea we must get pressure up the middle, God knows dallas does. I just saw sterling sharpe on nfl network isolate Jason Ferguson (cowgirl DT) and he was treating Raybach like a ho, consistently, so I'm wanting to see heart and results out of 5 players this week

1. Brunell
2. Griffin
3. Salavea
4. Raybach
5. Whoever is #1 WR

Bledsoe looked about as good on the sidelines yesterday as he did playing the first 6 games this year.

I thought it was funny that they made him go out for the coin toss. Talk about addin insult to injury.
