SPECIAL EMERGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT - Hognostications Week 9
Dear THN brothers and sisters,
Unfortunately, we are experiencing technical problems with the software used to run the Hognostications this week. BossHog has tried to solve this problem and he contacted the developers of the software to address these issues but he has not received a response or a solution to our problems to date. He will still try to sort things out but it is Thursday and we can not promise that a solution will be found before the games start at 1 PM (ET) on Sunday.
Please post your picks in theHognostications NFL Week 9 thread.I can not promise you that all will be fine, maybe not. I can not even promise you that the picks for this week will count towards the overall total. But you are welcome to place your picks on the thread and we will discuss later how we can sort this situation out.
AS AN EXCEPTION I will extend the DEADLINE from Friday November 3rd (9:00 PM) until Sunday November 5th morning PRIOR to the first game at 1 PM.
I am even willing to develop my own software to continue the accounting from week 8 onwards on my own if necessary but I wish to wait until we know for sure whether these glitches can be sorted out or not.
Pardon the the inconvenience but you know that this was the first trial season with this new software and growing pains always occur.

PS If you want my personal opinion, 1nik winning twice in a row really got the software to go bananas.
