Okay, I am extending this invitation to the first REDSKINS FAN that responds!

The person I was going to take to the Cowboys game has cancelled out on me. Thus far, I've been unable to find someone to go with me.

So....I am extending this offer to my THN family.

Does anyone out there want my 2nd ticket - for free?!?!?

Remember, I have DREAM SEATS (Section 5, Row 2, Seats 3 &4)

Here's what you do, just meet me at my tailgate in purple lot as early as possible (hopefully, at 9:00 AM). I'll be in the section below. Just look for my burgundy & gold trailblazer!



I'm gonna arrive at 7:30 AM to do some pre-tailgating at the Arena Drive entrance. When the gates open up at 9:00 AM, I'll be setting up my tailgate.

I'll feed you at the tailgate (scrapple sandwiches, bubba burgers, sausages, bacon wrapped scallops). I'll give you all the beer you can drink at the tailgate. The only thing I ask of you is to buy my beers in the stadium (if I actually want any - I usually get 1, maybe 2).

Once we're at our seats - soda, water, hot dogs, peanuts, cookies are all FREE! All you can eat!

The first person who says they want the ticket gets it.

But, as I've said, you must be a

REDSKINS FAN!!!

Oh, one more thing...you CANNOT BE A SEASON TICKET HOLDER!! This offer is extended to a person that cannot make it to every game - to make it that much more special.

Actually, I didn't even try to sell the 2nd ticket. Hell, one ticket is valued at over $300 so I doubt I'd get any buyers at this late date. I just asked a bunch of my friends, on very late notice, if they wanted to go. When I got replies back from around 75% of them saying "no", I got to thinkin'....none of my friends are Redskins fans. If they went, they'd just be going to attend a NFL game.

So, I figured I'd throw the offer out here because I knew someone from here would likely jump on it.

I'm not really interested on recouping any money because I always give my 2nd ticket away for free anyway.

I'm not even close to being in the running. Not to mention that I live in Los Angeles and my Dad is coming into town to visit me on Sunday.

Actually, I think it was last year I gave away 2 tickets (then, nose bleed seats) to a preseason game. If memory serves me correctly, I just may have given them to CLL, too! I'm not 100% sure.

Hey CLL, I think what I'm gonna do on Sunday is as I'm waiting in the Arena Drive entrance (from 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM on Sunday), I'm gonna cook scrapple sandwiches for everyone waiting in line there. If you want a scrapple sandwich, you're gonna have to get there early dude!

Yeah, its going to be almost impossible for me to get down there before 11am. With such great seats and such a generous off you definately need someone there to help you from the begining. Please feel free to offer the tickets to the person who posted after me. I wouldn't feel right accepting the tickets from you and not being able to chip in as I see fit. But thank you for the terriffic offer, its much appreciated and wont be forgotten.

Just sent a PM to "sch1977" telling him the ticket is his, if he can get there at 9:00 AM.

Whoever gets this ticket, I should have said in my original post I suppose, I was hoping they would get there at 9:00 AM to participate in the JH tailgate experience - so, basically, I wouldn't have to tailgate alone.

If "sch1977" doesn't want them, the Redeemed one has also already expressed interest, so I suppose he'll be the 3rd option.

If anyone else out there wants this ticket, just in case "sch1977" and "Redeemed" can't do it, let me know.

Justice, just in case people randomly can't make it, I'd definitely be up for it. . .so I guess put me next in line. . .about 10 spaces back or whatever. I'll hold on to hope

JH, I will be leading our worship service this week, so the earliest I could make it is game time. If that works, I'm still down. I wouldn't be available to tailgate, but I'd be more than ready to bring the house down once the game kicks off. (You ain't cheered, until you've cheered with "TRO")

But, I highly doubt you'll be tailgatin' alone, especially with the combination of your spread (scrapple sounds good), and "Her Royal Gaudiness" (yer truck) calling out to fellow Skins fans.

Hey JH, I stopped reading the thread after CLL got the first offering. I was thinking, maybe next time, with a couple of days to prepare, I could fly to DC and sleep in the Fedex parking lot if necessary....
