I consider my self a Regan-Democrat. I am democrat, but i also loved regan. I however do not like Bush either of them, or do I like clinton. I am tired of Clinton and Bush! I am voting for Barack Obama!

However John Kerry is the biggest piece of trash i have ever seen. I know for a fact that Kerry is not welcome in Iraq!! his latest remarks make me sick!

This pisses me off because i came in the military because i wanted to go to college and i couldn't afford it! The Gi Bill has helped me, the military has helped me become the person i am today. In the US Army i earned and recieved a BA IN History from Excelsior College and I am currently working on my Masters from UMUC! I came in the military before 9/11 a month before. I didn't know that war was going to happen. I still served in Iraq because of honor and a sense of duty!! We protect this nation so ASS HOLES like Kerry can run free and say what ever they want. I am not a Bush supporter however i support my brothers in Arms!! I guess West Point graduates, and Airforce grads, and the Naval grads, and the Coast guard grads, are stupid? Just because we did not discrace the uniform like kerry did, doesn't mean that we are dumb! I tend to believe that the members of the military and Vets are the bravest people and smartest people in this country! We owe them everything, because they fight, like I did because others can't. We fight to help humanity and fight for people who cannot defend themselves. Kerry spits in the eyes of all of the military as well as those who have served, retired or passed away! Hey Kerry go tell Colin Powell or Genral CASEY or a 1SG OR CSM that they are dumb. Mr. Kerry we serve in Iraq because we have honor! 9/11 MY GENERATION ANSWERED THE CALL, I GUESS NEXT TIME THE TERRORISTS CAN COME AND KNOCK ON YOUR DOOR, MR. KERRY. THE PROBLEM IS WE WOULD STILL HELP OUT HIS PUNK ASS!

There are so many reasons to dislike Kerry, but an out of context attack from a political enemy you personally dislike, is not one of them. The IAVA Congressional rating gives Kerry a B.

I'm not a Kerry supporter for any number of reasons, number one being that he didn't challenge the validity of the vote count in 04. Another is that he and other stood by while Bush, pretending to be a conservative, hijacked the government to ill effect.

I do not dislike Kerry for the reasons you do, however. He was a hero in Nam, as relatively recent miliarty records have disclosed, and it is pure fact that college students were exempt from the draft during the Nam years and that military recruiters target poor areas even at present. To point out the above in not to say that all milirary people are stupid. He has never said anything like that, regardless of how White House PR would have us believe.

I do dislike him because he let the Swift Boaters beat him up with lies and in all ways campaigned like an elitist fool in 04. Kerry didn't have to go to Nam at all, but went. Give credit where credit his due, and proper blame where due. The guy is a doofus and a jerk, with the decision making capacity of a door knob, but his stupidity doesn't rise to the level of evil-- the way Bush's does.

To kick an irrelevant dog like Kerry when faced by the overwhelming horror that G.W. Bush has presented us seems to me a waste of time.

Is Barack Obama running for President? That's news to me!! When did he announce his candidacy?

It's a little too early to say who you're voting for when no one has even announced their candidacy. All Obama said is that he would think about it after the mid-term elections. That's a far cry from saying he's going to run. Given that he's relatively inexperienced accross the board in National Politics, the chances are he won't run. So, you might have to cast your vote for someone else.

Ah, Republicans. Taking a single quote, a 'botched' joke, intended to mean something completely different, and blowing it out of proportion. It's good to see you guys with something to chew on, finally, after all the 'Congress likes to screw underage boys' debacle.

If you don't believe that Kerry, a vet himself, need I remind you, was aiming that comment at the Bush administration, and not the troops themselves, then you probably hated him before he said it. So, in the end, no loss for the rest of us.

Regardless of what Kerry said, the sad thing is that his commentsactually may affect the election in a few days. Neither Kerry orBush are on ballot this november yet many will allow their words,actions, and deeds to influence them when they walk into thatballot box next week. Sad day my friends... very sad day.

I'm with you on this. I have yet to see an ad from a Democratic candidate in this area about their plan for Iraq, or where they stand on the issues. They all say the same thing:

Vote for me. My opponent <insert candidate name> is George Bush's best friend. You can't vote for him. Vote for me. George Bush doesn't even know my name.

It didn't work out for Kerry in '04, but the democratic party is banking on it again. If they want to win, leave Bush out of it and tell us what you think is the solution in Iraq. Tell us what you think we can do about social secrurity. What is your plan for taxes and homeland security. But nope. All we get is "I'm not Bush, so vote for me."

I wish we could do away with political parties all together and just have an election where anyone can run and the only way to get elected is to best represent the values of your costituents.
