AWESOME!! However i would like nothing better than to focus on the skins and worry about basketball in Feb!! Hopefully that happens. Here is my Preview:
The HEAT will dominate the east! The west is a four team shootout! MAVS, SUNS, SPURS, and the the CLIPPERS! I believe the HEAT and MAVS will play in the finals. The Heat will Repeat!
For wizards fans out there here is yout record:
WIZARDS 56-26 2nd in their divison, then the Wizards will lose in the second round of the playoffs!
My CELTICS will go 42-40 make the playoffs and get smoked in the first round by the HEAT!!

I'm a Wizards fan but don't even think they will go that far. I hope your right. By the way, welcome to the boards.

Kidwell is kinda out of control... but I agree with the sentiment, I am excited about this basketball season too, and I am also a Celtics fan.
They'll be something of a longshot to make the playoffs, but I'll bet Ainge makes a midseason move that keeps them going and benefits them through next season as well.
Lay off UK over there, he might be wrong about basketball, but you have to remember... in England, most atheletes, and people in the general public are easily mistakeable for girls.
I mean, have you ever seen a british boxing match? A "champion" british fighter was off visiting China or someplace a while back and got beaten up and mugged by a bunch of teenagers...
I mean the hero of England, David Beckham is a little girly man who bathed in bottled water a few years ago because his teammates told him Russian water was contaminated and would make all his hair fall out.

Ur obviously young and don't study history. AThletically Wilt Chamberlain was the ultimante Physical speciman. He wons so many events in track while he was in college. 7'2 could move like a bullet, strong as hell. He was probably the top atheltically.

Yeah right, basketball u have to have it all. Speed (there's a lot of running and quickness in it).
Endurance- see above
Strength- Everyone has to be able to contribute some to the boards. Getting rebounds isn't all about height and strength people who say that don't know the game. Best rebounder today Ben Wallace, of all time Rodman. If you don't think guards need to be strong, than watch John Stockton play, or Allen Iverson, Micheal when he made a living posting up.
Vision- All players have to be able to read the court not just point guards. Watch Ben Wallace when he rebounds. Or Shaq when posting up u will see some great outlet passes to say Shaq was just big is ignorant.
Vertical- All positions require this shots can be blocked outside the paint and do get blocked outside the paint.
Coordination and hands- Ball handeling and shooting. Larry Bird John Stockton.
If you think Basketball is all finesse and style, watch Andre Miller play, Hamilton, Stockton, Jeff Hornacheck. Look at Jameer Nelson.
If you think Basketball isn't technically a sport look at Dirk, KG, Lebron, no NFL player can match them athletically. There's no NFL player that can match Wilt athletically. These Basketball players are freaks and could be good in any sport.

Really? Huh.
That explains the nickname.

The Wizards are not going to win 56 games, that is certain ... can't see the Heat repeating, that roster just isn't built for back-to-back title runs, Shaq's heart isn't in it any longer and I can't see the league handing Wade another two games like they did last year in games 6 and 7 ... awful, awful officiating ... I feel sorry for those of you who just dismiss the NBA as dull, I think this year will mark a rebirth for the league given the sheer amount of talent across the league ... lastly, I'm a Cavs fan and I think they'll win between 52 and 56 games and at least make it to the Eastern Conference Finals

Cavs suck. (not really, but you know).
