There is no game I want more than this one. This has got to be the game for the Skins. We are at home playing our arch rivals. If we dont get up for this one man!!! Please oh football Gods deliver us this one. We must all muster together all the powers we have and Will this one!

Our last three games were "must wins", too.

Yeah, but this is Dallas week. Should we not make the playoffs this year, a win in this week would mitigate a lot of the pain for me.

If this team can't get up for a division game against a hated rival at home in a must-win situation, we have serious problems.

Let the "playoffs" begin......a must win or we pack it up and get ready for next year.

Correction: We must win EVERYONE from now on.

Other than the -normal- Puke rivalry, which is no small thing, I will say WHY I feel this week is the MOST important week of the season:

1) unique opportunity to implement adjustments after a BYE week.

2) the Home-Away difference with the Pukes.

3) the NFC East final record.

Most importantly:

4) It would be nearly impossible for Joe to bring the team back in shape throughout the rest of the season and the fans may start a civil war among themselves.

playoffs

Please stop talking about the playoffs! We couldn't beat Tennessee at home. How many more losses will it take to stop talking about the playoffs? I'm thinking 3 more. If they are the next three, that would put the skins at 2-8. That should do it. I hope they win the next 9, but please stop talking about the playoffs until the skins are at least at .500

I agree that its a must win, but honestly the Dallas/Washington rivalry losing its luster. It was rekindled last year, but right now...I think the Dallas fans would say that Philly is their biggest rival...its kind of lame to say that they're our arch rival when we are no longer theirs... but from a die hard fan perspective, I would love to destroy Dallas at home......I just wish we were a little bigger on their radar right now.... :(

I beg to differ. I work doing technical support in southern cali. Today I recieved a call from a guy living in Texas. I support Dvd drives well anyways I just happened to ask him if he was A Cowboys fan next thing I hear is ROMO baby. He asked me whos my team which I proudly exclaimed SKins Baby. Next thing I hear is a ring tone........The rivalry is still strong believe me. The hate is still strong and lives on between our bitter rivals.

I was saying this is a must win. Not for the fact that if we lose the thought of playoffs is over. "PLayoffs!" Playoffs!!" qoute JIm Mora. Heck I was just saying for the simple fact that this is Dallas week. I have mentally prepared myself so that if we miss the playoffs I am ready to handle it without it ruining the rest of my year. Well all I want for Christmas is to spank the cowgirls And injure them up.Oh Santa Ive been good.

The rivalry will always be strong for the fans....the players need to approach it that way...but don't feel special....if you were a Philly fan, that conversation would have ended with more than a ring tone.

Feel Special? Huh? Well anyway Im a pretty thugish ruggish dude. I fear no man on earth. Except maybe Hulk Hogan or Mike Tyson. Other than that Id go toe to toe with anyone. Anyhow that wasnt the point. All I was saying I still think the Players take extra satisfaction in this game.

You are absolutely right! Why are we talking playoffs here? Let's try for that Number 1 pick. Screw the season. We have nothing to play for now.

Redskins will win on Sunday …

The Redskins will win on Sunday for all the reasons they haven’t won many games this year.

Defense:

The Redskin defense that Greg Williams planned for all off-season will take the field for the first time this year. Wynn will not be out there unless something huge happens, and Vincent will fill in where PP would have been. All and all this is the unit that Williams originally wanted to field and they’re playing a guy that’s starting his second game. Springs and Rogers starting works a lot better than Rogers and <insert any corner in the league slotted to play nickel and dime>. Marshall will be healthy, Washington isn’t on the injury report at all, Joe and Corny will be clogging the middle of the line and keeping lineman off of the linebackers. Williams will finally be able to do some of the things he has wanted to do.

That team in Texas will have to change what worked for them on defense last game (other team might want to take note). Sitting back in cover 2 won’t work this game, the defensive play caller won’t be able to play cover 2 and roll a man to Moss. Moss won’t be there. Moss hasn’t missed a game since he has been a Redskin, and is Brunell’s favorite target. Without Santana Moss Mark Burnell will have to look at the whole field. No team in the league has any tape of Mark playing under these circumstances. No one has any film on the Redskins without Moss for that matter that’s worth watching. This will put TtiT’s defense in a rough spot. Plus no Moss means the other Hurricanes will step up.

CP wants to carry the load and should get his chance, Taylor won’t have to focus on coverage as much and can get back to head-banging (option 1 should be TO). G. Williams did move up to get McIntosh in this past draft.

no moss equals no long brunell passes.
