no. standings only matter if your team isn't a pathetic joke with a disgraceful moron for a coach. standings only matter if your team actually tries to win football games, and joe gibbs apparently has given up on that idea, yet insists on continuing to coach.

Couldn't have been a better first half! Arrington carted off (looks cooked for the year), Barber shaken up, OSI shaken up!

We still have another half! Let the hitting continue! Lets go Dallas turf, get some knees!

i grew up watching and loving the redskins under joe gibbs. but there isn't even a question as to whether he is currently disgracing the team. the brunell situation was a joke for a long time, this week, it officially devolved into a disgrace.

any other coach handling this situation in this way would have been fired already, and rightfully so. just because it hurts you to admit it doesn't make it untrue. it's time for us all to face reality.

I think I read elsewhere in another Hogs.net forum that NY would hold a tie-breaker over us if they won. I don't pretend to know how all that works out, since we also lost to Dallas this year, and our record is now closer to theirs...but that's what I read.

I was actually pulling for Dallas *may lightning strike me for saying that*, mainly because they already have a loss in the division, and handing the G-Strings a loss, would still leave us a glimmer of hope.

What happened to LaVar "Glass Knee" Arrington? Didn't see it.

Ruptured achille's tendon, gone for the year.

Chill. I agree that we should not disrespect Coach God but he is currently making a mockery of things with his insistence that Brunell be the QB - you can't argue that.

Neither team matters, we have to beat them both plus beat the eagles twice!
Not likely

That is veering toward a personal attack, it does not belong in Hogwash

If he had spelled it right, would it have then qualified as a personal attack?

The Redskins need to help themselves. What is the use of hoping for something to happen to other teams, if your team is playing not to win.
