Solution to our problems

Hire a real general manager.

A good one of course. We managed to dodge a bullet in Bruce Allen if his performance in Tampa Bay is to be judged.

Seriously though, several other things.

Either Saunders or Gregg Williams leaves - Both are using their positions as stop gaps to position themselves as HC's. That's too many. Since Williams seems to be the heir apparent, at least until the D started flopping this year, I say Saunders is the one who should leave.

Dale Lindsay needs to go - Responding to Arrington's comments like he did was immature and lends more credence to Arrington's criticism that Lindsay is an idiot. He ain't exactly working wonders with talent he has.

Keep our picks - Here are the picks we don't have for this year's draft: 2nd (traded to NY Jets to take Rocky McIntosh), 3rd round pick (TJ Duckett), and 4th rounder (Brandon Lloyd). Right away, we only have one first day pick and considering their track record with second day picks, we can pretty much count on only one pick to have a contribution.

I'm sorry if this post seems bitter but I hate what this team has become. FedEx Field is a hell hole and Snyder is running the team into the ground. I still think the Champ Bailey for Clinton Portis trade was one of the worst trades ever - though the Duckett trade may over take after the year.

Nonetheless, go Skins. MAKE ME EAT CROW OR GET A GM!

I agree a GM is needed and Dale Lindsay is a ________ I hate that we don't use our draft picks what happened to the Gibbs that would play unkowns hungry guys that wanted to win. Snyder is still the GM. My dad told me best listen Gibbs is back but he was 1/3 of the succes and a 33 percent on a test is failing. Bethard who is one of the best GM's in football isn't back and that turd is still there and Jack Kent Cooke who is one of the best owners in sports history isn't coming back only 1/3 of the succes pyramid is coming back don't get your hoops up and in the end he might be right.

I've never seen a team go from the playoffs straight to the toilet bowl like this bunch of clowns. Besides injuries, we are so bad in so many areas, it's just mindboggling.

The offensive line is pathetic. Our tackles couldn't stop a group of angry old ladies.
The defensive line is beat up and the replacements can't stop the run and the DEs can't generate a pass rush. The secondary is beat up and putrid.
We don't even have a QB as far as I'm concerned. I'm so sick and tired of watching Brunell flop around and get crushed, I could puke.

I wish someone, anyone would try to explain to me why we gave away a draft pick for someone (TJ Duckett) we're obviously not going to use at all. What kind of sense does that make?

We do, DEFINITELY, need a GM. Vinny and "The Danny" just ain't getting it done. I had hoped that Joe Gibbs would be the voice of reason, but I just don't see it. Utter frustration has set in and the cherry on the ice cream will be coming back off the bye and getting spanked at home by Dallas... Guh.

Snyder's not a dummy. You don't get where he is without a whole lotta smarts. But those smarts aren't in building a winning football team.

He even gives us glimpses of having seen the light by supposedly handing full control of football operations to first Schottenheimer, and now Gibbs.

But it still seems like Snyder makes the calls on expenditures. And that's where it all starts. They might make the right decisions on what positions need to be addressed, but they still overspend to fill said positions.

They wind up with a 53-man roster that is 25 Cadillacs and 28 Hyundais and Yugos.

Redskin Freak...

Amen brother... No doubt in my mind that Dan Snyder wants to win badly, but everything he touches seems to turn into to the brown, smelly stuff.

Dude no more changing of personel. What we need to do is build with what we have. Keep the good get rid of the bad. Pertaining to players that is. Keep the system and groom our team according to the system.
