Fed-Ex and those sucky jumbo-trons

I couldn't find the old topic on this but I stumbled across a fellow at ES who won one of those tours of Fed-Ex.
I'll confirm that this is true. My brother-in-law won the Washington Post Fantasy Job contest and he and I were allowed to tour the press box and media rooms. The vid guy and producer told us that in order to move from analog to digital for a big screen TV - basically the whole stadium would need to be rewired.

It was funny - b/c we politely informed them that the replays and screens sucked donkey butt.....the guy laughed and said the technology in the Tivo in most of our LRs was so vastly superior to the equipment at Fed Ex it was laughable. In order to show analog replays on the big screen - they basically have to take a VCR - rewind it and feed it to the screen. It is archaic.

So - yeah. I'm of the firm belief that Mr. Snyder needs to sock some money back in the stadium. Suck it up - get a sponsor if you must and make it the Youtube.com Jumbotron and the Comcast digital wiring brings you this replay......better yet - the Redskins coughed up the money and bring you this replay for sticking w/ us through last years 3 and 13 season.

I guess it'll cost too much money.

I just can't get off of the parking prices. I envision him raising parking to $60 per game so he can upgrade the Jumbotrons.

In another thread you stated it costs $40 per game to park at Fed-Ex. Really!?! That's outrageous! I had no idea it'd gotten so high. I'm amazed anyone drives at those prices. I'd take the metro every week.

Actually it's ONLY $35. Up from $25 last year. I mean, it's SO rediculous it's laughable. I just chalk it up to yet ANOTHER game day expense.

Basically, I HAVE to think about it in terms of game total cost.
