Run the ball, and keep Indys offense off the field. WE have to win the time of possesion.I know it sounds simple but thats the kind of game plan we need.

Get the running game going, Make stops on 3rd down, no turnovers

As quickly as Indy can score, we could win the TOP and still lose badly. I say pressure on Manning is the key. Like most QBs, he'll make mistakes if he's under pressure.

We need to get lucky! We're gonna have to get lucky and get some turnovers! Their offense is just to darn good. And their defense just got better with that new DT they picked up! We have to give our offense a short field and hopefully swing some of their points our way!

Whats the point though? At least ONE of our CBs can't catch them anyway. Plus, he has a thumb injury this week.
Pressure to knock off their offense, I guess..but that is not enough to stop PManning.

Score touchdowns. Stop other team from scoring touchdowns.

Run the ball every play, but more up the middle or to the right (stop running to the left - it hasn't worked all year!). Play six DBs every down (not including AA - make him one of the down linemen - he couldn't do any worse than Carter) The Colts will not try to run the ball, so try to stop it (like it would work if they did try to stop it)

Obviously, this is a bit of sarcasm. But run the ball, play a lot of nickel and dime, and NEVER EVER BLITZ MANNING he will hang a TD on us every other Blitz!

We definitely need to be able to run the ball effectively all day. We also need to do something that we haven't done all year and blitz like crazy. It's obvious that Peyton will be able to light our defense up like a christmas tree on fire if we let him sit in the pocket all day. If we blitz, there is a chance he could burn us still, but how is that any different from what we've seen in the past five weeks when we haven't blitzed? Blitzing him will give him less time to be comfortable in the pocket because his accuracy goes way down when he is on the run.

we need to run the ball a lot and keep Manning off the field as much as possible. This run D is giving up an average of 5.2 yards per carry!
I know that Manning will be effective and he is very good at the quick tempo game but there have been defenses that have worked well against him and I'm sure that Williams is looking into being as disruptive as possible.
I think if we can minimize their success on offense and maximize our time on offense we will end up with a good chance for a win.

Every team needs some luck and we are certainly due!

If we apply pressure on Manning, we also can't cover their receivers 10 yards off the line of scrimage. They need to get up there and bump them b/c he will check down to the hot route in a second and that will burn us up all day.

This team is 31st in the league in giving up +20 yard passes and 31st in +40 yard attemps the vast majority of those big plays came against a "dog or a blitz". Most of the time that they blitz they show it way too early and it is picked up and they give up a big play. I would love for them to show the blitz almost every play, but only rush 3. Of course you would have to send the blitz from time to time, but right now the defense the defense holds up a sign that say "Hey, I'm coming please adjust your blocking sceam so that you can pick me up!)

The only way we can win is to control the ball. Tennessee did that effectively against them and still lost because they can score in a hurry, but thats the only way.

If our offense can't sustain 6+ minute drives, and covert 3rd downs, their offense will get 50 to 60 plays, and if you give them 50 to 60 plays, they'll blow you out.
