Every one of those suggestions makes sense. This organization doesn't like doing things that make sense, though, so no chance of any of this stuff actually happening.

Those are some pretty good suggestions. I really like #5

EDIT: after thinking it over, I like #2, #3, #4, and #5.

LOVE IT JAKE!
Although, on #5, I like about 65/35 run. Hasn't Gibbs realized that when Portis gets 100+, that we usually win? And wasting Duckett is just a crime...to us AND to him.

Im not a Collins fan but I agree with them all but I doubt we'll see any.

Very nice Jake, I like #2 alot, Play Rocky

#2 is a no brainer to me.

And this guy better be a player.

I think we sometimes forget that Rocky Mcintosh cost the Redskins not one but two 2nd round draft choices. That is a very, very steep price for one player.

Let's get him in there and have him start making plays for our defense.

But, but, Brunell is NOT the problem!! He's smart, experienced veteran, who makes smart, experienced veteran mistakes which lose games in a smart, experienced way!! He gives us the best chance to lose now!!

Good stuff, Jake. Is that yours, or did you copy it from somewhere?

They should have been using example #5 from the outset of the season. Even without Duckett running the ball, I don't see the logic of abandoning the run first mentality that got us to the playoffs last year.

Mursilis- It was on the front page of the Post.

Thanks for posting that, Jake. I love it! And agree with every point.

It's good to know that was printed in the WP. I didn't see it online. That actually makes me feel pretty good that they put those points out there where the Skins could see them, clearly, and the public could rally around them.

The most frustrating part of this season is the seeming lack of awareness at Redskin's park of those issues (meaning those pressers we see on redskins.com).

I agree with every point. And good job WP!

I agree with playing Rocky too! He needs to learn on the fly now that we are 2-4!!!!

I disagree with #1 and say go straight to campbell, but agree with the rest and LOVE #5.

Great job Jake - I really like #2, #4 and #5. I really think that if we want to win this game, Brunell is our only choice! We really would be taking a big chance IMO to put in a rookie against Indy at home and Collins is not going to be able to manage the team as well as Brunell.
We are going to see massive ball control this week and Brunell is the best leader we have at that position.

I think Carter has something to prove this week.

Frost should have been out of here a while agao.

I love the thought of running the ball with a 2 back set against this team - we lost a great opportunity to try that after we were up 14-3 last week

Shame that this has to be in the Post - nobody at Redskins Park pays the slightest attention to anything from that rag - they are a worthless sports paper.

we need to fire the punter, for that 35 yard kick when the score was tie at 22....a good punt there would have send the game into overtime.

Yep, put Campbell in and find out if he can play the game. We know Brunell can't, what do we have to lose?

Yep....he managed that game so well last week....especially the most important drive of the game with 1:06 to play.....one play, one sorry ass pump fake that obviously didnt fool the five guys on the other team that Brunell threw the ball to ......yep.......QUINTUPLE COVERAGE ON ONE RECEIVER and he still threw it that way...... I have an idea Jason Campbell could have at least not thrown that pass and wouldnt have thrown that pass. I think it would be a great experience for #17 to play this weekend vs. the best team in football.....and i guarantee you he doesnt make that pass and surprises alot of us. Isn't watching #8 getting old for anyone? Its kind of frustrating if you ask me.

By the way, all 5 are brilliant suggestions.....how is it that a newspaper can suggest things that might provide a spark but our coaching staff can't.....HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not only would campbell not have tried that pass, not a single member of this message board would've tried that pass! it may very well be the worst throw i have ever seen in an NFL game, because there is absolutely no possible explanation as to why he threw it.

I agree with all except #1. Go straight to Campbell. What's the worst he could do, run? If he doesn't have anyone to throw to. Oh, I forget, this guy is a big QB with a big arm and Drew Bledsoe legs (snicker....).

It is obvious that MB is done, period. But has anyone ever thought that maybe, just maybe, Big Al upstairs can put together a game plan that Campbell could manage and not hurt this team??? I mean, how hard is it to pivot right or left and give it to Portis 30 times and throw the ball away if you don't have any open receivers. The two guys behind MB are capable of completing a pass otherwise they would not be on an NFL roster. Just simplify this offense to get us through and then implement it fully next season with Campbell running it.
