Springs Returns to Practice
Cornerback Shawn Springs returned to practice on Wednesday, but remains listed as questionable as he recovers from a groin injury.
Springs participated in individual drills during practice and told reporters afterward that he felt fine. As Springs progresses in practice during the course of the week, coaches will determine his availability for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans.

I guess you could call it "returning to practice." From the sound of it he still has a little ways to go...

Actually, I DON'T want him to play this week.

Not that I want to overlook the Titans or anything, I am pretty confident we can beat them without Springs and lets just say he accidently re-aggrevates the injury, well then we are screwed versus Indy.

So of course I want him back, but we need him at full strength versus the Colts.

You cna bet the doctors as well as the team would not have him back on the field unless he was close to 100% so that's nothing really to worrry about. They aren't just going to throw him back out there. I doubt he plays this week but when he does, you can bet he will be as healthy as possible.

I hope he doesn't play for the sole sake of resting him for Indianapolis.

We've won a couple games without him and I think we'll win this week so why not save him for when we play an elite team?

I don't know about the "resting him for Indy" idea...

There's got to be a warm up period. I think it would be best if he had a game under his belt before taking on the big boys.
