I was a supporter of this kid up until the time we traded him, thinking he would eventually come around. He's doing it again -- out hurt with a hammy. Has played in 2 games with NO catches. Is he just that brittle? Jeez.
I'm probably more patient than most as I've seen over the years guys in the NFL start out hurt for 2-3 years then come back to be really good players...I thought this guy might be one of those...I'm beginning to wonder now. The best example is Phil Simms (Chris's dad). He hardly played his first 2-3 years, than he finally got healthy and played very well for a long time. I also think WRs can take awhile to come around. All of sudden they aren't the best athletes on the field anymore and they have to learn how to get open, fight for the ball, adjust based on the defense, or adjust if the QB is in trouble, etc... In HS and College they are so good they just out class the db's.
I know a lot of Skins fans hate this guy as we wasted a 2nd rounder on him but if he had a little luck, he might be our 3rd WR now. I read a lot of positives about him from the coaches and players when he was here (and hurt!).
