Here we go again. NFL Week 4 is here!

PLEASE do not post your Hognostications in this thread. If you have REGISTERED already, just go to the Pick sheet and do your thing THERE when the new picksheet is open later in the week.

PLEASE only register as a new player in case you have not done so yet. New players please feel free to join us to play on any given week.

This thread is intended to talk about the NFL picks for week 4, your favourite teams for this week and to ridicule others with mediocre scores, like Texas Hog's and mine.

Enjoy,

I haven't seen your picks, but I'm ridiculing them already. Have fun falling further down the ranks.

Okay, before you all give me a load of crap again....I'm really leaning towards picking the Jaguars this week. Why? Because the Redskins need a good rushing attack to win and the Jaguars have an excellent defense.

And

The Skins record against AFC opponents recently has sucked big time.

No, I haven't officially made my selections yet....but I just wanna give you a heads up, so you can start your assault early!

I have to accept that, just like the Redskins, I have my job cut out for me. As long as I keep a slightly better pace throughout the season, I will be fine.

But I admit that a bit of humble cake has been good to eat by both the Skins and myself. It is good to keep a good perspective even when times are not great.

I somehow suspected that you had masochistic tendencies. It is alright. Everybody is free to make any picks you want. But we are also free to ridicule them anyway we want.

You know where my picks will go -every- week!

Redskins and I will rise to the top this week. Hail !!!

OK, I did that and after about 49 minutes I was "escorted" from the premises ... thanks for nothing :(

My picks are in.

After some reflection, I decided to go with the Skins this week. I am hoping that winning is contagious and the team now has a "14 in a row or we don't go" attitude. We'll see.

Sorry Fios, I should have clarified. When I said bank I was referring to a financial institution, not a sperm bank.

Okay folks, after spotting you last week with an 0 - 14 (due to a deadly combination of procrastination and beer), I'm back and ready to kick some butt! And I'm picking the Skins so when I'm there and they win, the trip will be that much sweeter.

I just wrote and sent an exclusive Hognostications article talking about you and a couple of others. Stay tuned for Thursday's Hiognostication piece written by Texas Hog and myself.

You wil be surprised.

You were lucky it wasn't worse than that. A cup, walking around in a sperm bank?

Browns @ Raiders? Nobody's going to be filming that game, will they? I mean, there won't be any recordings allowed, surely?

My picks are made, and they're my best yet. I expect a surge from pathetic all the way up to moderate this week.

Guess what?

We do have indeed our first TRAITOR for week 4. Who could that be? I don't really know. :hmm:

It could not be a THN staff member. No, staff members are true fans loyal to their team. [-X

Let me check again ... Oh no! I can not believe my eyes. Yes, it is true, impossible but true.

He must be desperate. He must be sick. He must have had a mental lapsus, like those when a man may forget that he is a man and becomes a woman, temporarily, just for the night...

Yes, ladies, gentlemen and children of all ages. We do have the one TRAITOR so far.

Inducted into the HALL OF SHAME we invite a staff member ...

[drum roll] ....

CHADDUKES

who has his name inscribed in bright YELLOW cowardly letters

Do not tell BossHog and the other staff. They will get a heart attack to know that one of their own is Hognosticating a Jags win.

What is the world coming down to? Now the STAFF or EVEN a lowly BLOGGER!!!???

. . .uhh. . .not actually a member of the staff, RiC. . .but a blogger nonetheless!
