OMG I have missed the draw play, and today we saw a couple of great ones. It seems like years since we used it, let alone so effectively.

The one at the end of the 1st half was perfectly timed, and in the perfect situation, with the right RB in the backfield. Well called!

And the best part is, that is what CP said he would be doing all season long.
Remember he would always say stuff like, it'd be a 4 WR set, Mark in the shotgun, and CP would take the draw and go 30 yards untouched into the endzone!
Pretty cool stuff if you ask me.

I remeber my father screaming about the Skins not using the draw for years, you seem to be correct in your assumption.

With the speed and quickness of Portis, the draw can be highly effective. The shuttle pass that he ran 70+ yards on was almost like a draw. In order for a draw to work you have to be able to complete passes and keep the D honest.

Portis raved about the opportunity to run draw plays regularly, during the offseason. Now that he's in the backfield, we'll certainly get to witness how great it can truly be.

I'm embarrassed.
When it happened, I immediately asked, "Why call that right now?"
Two second later, I was singing praises.
