On Monday, Oct. 2, Capitals majority owner Ted Leonsis, NHL rookie of the year Alex Ovechkin, Senator Ted Stevens (R-AK), Representative Tom Davis (R-VA), Representative Steny Hoyer (D-MD) along with other politicians, local broadcasters and athletes will team up with the Washington Capitals and the Capitals' Alumni Association for the third-annual Caps Care Classic. As the official golf tournament of the Washington Capitals, the Caps Care Classic raised nearly $500,000 for local charities during the first two years of its existence.

Proceeds from the 2006 Caps Care Classic will benefit Children's National Medical Center, Athletes Against Autism and Washington Capitals Charities. In conjunction with the golf tournament, the Capitals are hosting an online auction. All proceeds from this auction will go directly to the Caps Care Classic's beneficiaries. The Capitals' organization has a long history of supporting wonderful local causes and hopes you will join in its effort to make this year more successful than ever before.

There is some cool stuff here, for fans of all sports. You can get a Santana Moss autographed football, a Freddy Adu autographed soccer ball, and Alphonso Soriano autographed baseball bat and a plethora of other stuff.

Check it out. There is some great memorabilia and it all goes to support the Children's National Medical Center and Olie Kolzig's charitable foundation, Athletes Against Autism.
RIP 21

I love the FotoBall... definitely THE best thing to get autographed up in my opinion.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.
