Dude, I own rights on those guys. You're going to have to offer me at least three cases of beer and a 3rd rounder next year for me to even consider it.

The rights actually belonged to the respective players at one point but there was a buyout in the 80's (George not in the league yet and Leaf still a kid) that was a bit scandalous. Four years ago the rights went for sale again and I was able to outbit Paul McCartney for them. (Final bid was 16 imported-brand beers, 3 footballs and an empty can of coke signed by Bubby Brister). I then proceeded to tell Leaf to be retarted in order to ruin his career and signed him up for a flag football league. I told Jeff to simply keep on keepin' on.

It's all part of the plan. Now the Skins will want one of these QBs (obviously!) and they'll have to pay ME to get them. Mwahahahaha!

I heard you got a good deal, not true at all in fact that's just plan robbery, unless we are talking nerf footballs.

I generally like Nerf footballs, but these were the ones with the whistlers on the side that hurt when you catch them. Also, one had a rocket tail that was advertised (by John Elway) as being able to go super-far. I threw in the infomercial tape recording that he did (it cuts directly from that into the 2nd half of an episode of "Saved By the Bell") no charge. . .

I'll agree that this trade was a risk, but you have to understand that I've got backup plans too. Jeff George has spent parts of the last 6 years recording an album with Emmylou Harris in a studio, and Ryan Leaf has been. . .well. . .no one really knows what he's been up to.
