whatsuip everyone,

just wanna throw out carlos rodgers out there. I was at the game last night sitting in the endzone that they scored in and I have to say that I was not impressed at all by Rodgers. He got beat on that TD BADLY and also earlier in the game they dropped a pass thrown that should have been 6....again Rodgers was defending it. Jerry Gray better get this kid to start playing like a 1st round draft pick or we are going to be in deep trouble. Im not even going to get started on Rumph/Wright on the other side because they werent worth it. I know Rodgers has a boatload of talent so Im just hoping he can pull it all together becasuse he dominated against a very average Vikings receiving corps. Whats going to happen vs Dallas when he is on T.O. and Rumph/Wright are on Glenn?? Geeze I hope they figure out their coverage problems this week

Rodgers?

Im sure you meant,

22 Rogers, Carlos CB 5-11 199 1 Auburn 07-02-1981

Yes he got burned on a couple of plays but yesterdays loss was the fault of the team as a whole.

He got beat over and over, and not only that, he missed tackles. That was a really bad game for him.

You can't blame a loss on just one guy, in any sport, but Carlos Rogers really stunk it up last night. He got beat badly several times.

He simply isn't good enough at this point to cover a #1 receiver. Him on TO is going to be a disaster.

Thanks for correcting the obvious mistake. EVERYONE now should know there's no "d" in Rogers.

Thanks. I'm here all week. \:D/

Yeah, and did you know that Troy Williamson runs like a 4.2 40 yard dash???

I love Carlos ROGERS and he will be an excellent CB in the NFL.

Yea at some point he could very well become an excellent CB. But right now he isn't one. And he is totally overmatched as a #1 CB. If Williamson did that to him last night it scares me to even think about what TO will do to Rogers.

Rogers and Rumph disappointed me last night.

Rumph is just as slow as he is on Madden and Rogers need to learn how to LOOK BACK when defending a receiver.

They both stunk it up last night.

That's what I said. He never even turned his head to look for the ball. He might have made a play a couple of times, but he never even looked.

yes, yes, yes!!! he did a great job of coverage, he just never reacted to the ball! he could have had 2 or 3 interceptions last night. instead we gave up touchdowns. hopefully the coaches can get that fixed IMMEDIATELY. if so, we're in good shape. if not, we are utterly doomed.

i disagree, he was beaten BADLY on the pass to Williamson that was dropped and I was sitting in the endzone the vikings scored on and he was beat on that too. He if you watch tape Johnson gave a pump fake and totally froze rogers. The only reason it looked like rogers was in the play was because he was running full speed to try to catch up to Williamson who was half speed at that point waiting for the ball. If he would have had a pic if he turned his head and saw the ball i dont know, but he was beaten on that too. It wasnt just because he was not looking for the ball. He got beat consistantly. That being said Im not saying that I dont think he can turn it around or anything, the kid has a boatload of potential. Im just hoping that Jerry Gray can help him figure everything out before DallASS....

Actually, I think Carlos will do better against TO than he did against Williamson. Hear me out:

You all know that Carlos is more of a Greg Williams physical corner just as TO is a big physical WR.

Williamson on the other hand runs a freakin 4.2 Forty and can pretty much burn any corner in the league (but luckily he can't catch)

Plus, TO is scared of Sean Taylor so he won't go over the middle on Sunday and I think Carlos will do pretty good on TO.

That actually does make some sense. The problem, however, is that TO does have some speed as well. I haven't looked at 40 times but I tend to think that both TO and Glenn are faster than Rogers.

yeah it seems like the great corners can look back and anticipate where the ball is. Haven't seen that out of Rogers yet
