I feel you, got back from lunch and just couldn't take it. By 1:20 I knew I would make it to 5. 20 min drive was home by 1:55

I live in Utah (just moved a few months ago) and unfortunately the game starts at 5 here (stupid Mountain time). I've got the TIVO set and my Skins-fan-convert wife is cookin' up something good for tonight. (She's a UGA fan from Georgia, but I converted her to the Skins officially after they ran Spurrier's butt out of town).

I've been waiting all summer for this, and thank God tonight is finally here. Let's see if Brunell can recapture the magic.

Ain't that the truth! After suffering through that preseason mess, I can't wait to see what Gibbs, Saunders, and Williams have behind the curtain for the REAL football season!

The "Miracle Shot" is locked and loaded. I've got a strange feeling, though, I won't need to deploy it tonight.

No waste ....... at that point it just becomes the "Victory Shot" -drinking

I am HERE.

I should be THERE at FedEx. I managed to make it to Washington DC for work rushing schedules and planes and ...

I am not feeling too good. I have a headache and maybe a cold too. I was going to the tailgate incognito but I do not think it would have been wise being in this shape. So, here I am watching the pre-game in Washington from a tv in my hotel.

But I will be watching of course and I will come to the site to make comments, hopefully positive ones.

Those WINGS smell all the way to my room HS! Share the recipe!

Vikings declared starting safety Dwight Smith inactive. Not for injury reasons.

Nice.

I thought Gibbs had seen the light last year when he ditched the black 'R' cap for the burgundy. It was at about that time that the run to the playoffs began as well.

Alas, he's back in the black tonight.

er.. frank is drunk, kicking himself over the baseball tickets. let me clarify, a rookie is starting at saftey, instead of a probowler, for the viqueens.
