I just got done watching the Steelers wax those Dolphins. I just love it when a team gets a lead and the defense gets to pin em' back and smack the opposition in the mouth. (Joey Porter) I still have no reguard for the Dolphins, I mean, Aqua Marine and Coral? Those are not Football colors. Black and Gold, Burgundy and Gold, thats more like it. I have to hope that the Skins get a lead and that they can pin em' back. Brad better have his teeth numbered. Also saw the new Commish in the booth w/ Madden and Michaels. Hummm, a new era, after Gibbs and Co. win that fourth trophy with a fourth team, they might have to rename that Super Bowl prize.

Great observations. I'm glad you enjoyed the game.
I caught the exciting portion of the contest (the pick for a TD and the kiss).
The season kicked off well, and it looks like it just might be Steelers v. Redskins at Super Bowl XLI.
By the way, Big Ben's Grill looks so diferent following the accident. He loks extra "puffy".

That game was a borefest. I should have known better to pick Dante... He was skipping balls in the dirt just like McNabb used to. You could tell his WR's were frustrated. Ronnie Brown needs better blocking... He made a lot happen by his own skill.

Why are you talking up the Steelers there fans hate on the Redskins, believe me were I go to school is all Steelers fans. They say the Redskins are a country club team and not a football team, thats why I hate the Steelers. This was a typical Steelers game, them getting sob story calls, Dolphins sack Batch there times in a row than they give the Steelers some bs defensive interference call so the steelers can win.

Not really talking up the Steelers, moreover tearing down the Dolphins. I live in Eagle country, and I totaly ignore their fair weather fans. I have had a dislike for the Fins since SB 7, thats why SB 17 was Soooo sweet, Revenge. As we all know, in the words of Mr. Cooke, "the finest bloody fans on the face of the earth, REDSKINS FANS."

What I love is how all the ESPN "experts" picked Miami to win the AFC East, and even go to the Super Bowl.
Then they lose one game aginst the defending Super Bowl champs and everyone is like,
"Well, I don't know if the Dolphins will even go 8-8 this year. Remember, they are still in the same division as the New England Patriots."
It kinds of reminds you of something...

I hate Pittsburgh. I know a lot of people from Pittsburgh that have moved to Northern VA because they couldn't find a teaching job back home. Everytime they win, they like to trash talk. I would rather the steelers lose so I can make fun of them rather than hear them run their mouth about how good the steelers are. This is Redskins country and they need to leave or convert!

Are you crazy their fans are obnixous, and they talk junk on the Skins all the time, they even say the Redskins are a country club and not a real football team. Their fans r just media darlings, and Jerome Bettis he is overrated, he is not a John Riggins I don't care what any Steeler fan says.

Isn't that derogatory?

They are named that because Pittsburg is considered steel town, the city has a huge steel buisness. Its like the 76ers or the 49ers, there really no such thing but people know its the name because 1849 the california gold rush and 1776 philly was the city were the nation declared its independence.
