Yup. Somehow, the Raiders decided Jeff George can help their team.
Go figure.

I thought Geff George was somewhere in the mountains of Nepal trying to find his inner soul somewhere.

Wow....and I thought we were crazy for signing him in 2000. Well the Raiders can look forward to stuff like this:

I will never forget the look of fear I saw George wearing the last time I ever saw him playing.
And now he's going to Oakland? Beautiful.

Art Shell knows him well. It is not as crazy as it looks. Think about it, would that be the first team with a backup to groom your starter? I can think of a worse backup closer to home.
Please forgive me Al Saunders. I am a little grumpy today.

I have a question with the money he was signed for, $800000.00 I believe.
Does he still get the money or is it prorated? Anyone know how this works?

I think, unless there was a signing bonus. . .no. But I could be mistaken.

I think he's supposed to get his parking fee reimbursed if he remembered to get his ticket stub validated on his way out of camp!

I just figured Art Shell must have lost a bet.
