This team is going to need a lift on 9/11 from the fans.

We have a good offense. We have a good defense. Neither are playing well right now. Neither will play enough in the final preseason game to stop the panic. That's the situation, and because the preseason is well, the preseason, the only worry I have is the player's confidence in themselves.
I think they have a lot more confidence then the panicky skins fans have in them at this point, but it comes down to this. We can show up on 9/11 and hold our breath waiting for something to go wrong, or we can show up on 9/11 and impact the game from the kickoff. Anyone that was at the Giants or Cowboys game last year knows what I'm talking about, the crowd was stiffling, and it hurt the other team while it lifted ours. Spend the next 15 days questioning everything if you like, but if you are going to be there on 9/11, act like your team has won 6 of the last 7 games that mattered. Act like they won a playoff game on the road for the first time in 14 years, and scream like you expect them to win.
