A different angle on the Brunell thing

Just stepping outside the box and looking in and this is what I may see:
I do see us using the 2nd round draft pick to aquire Brunell...Why you may ask..Well Gibbs has said he wants an experienced, verteran in the backup role and Brunell's agent stated that Brunell will not go anywhere where there is any chance of QB controversy...Patrick is the starter..We know it, Lord Gibbs knows it, Dan Snyder knows it, FatF*** Pasqeurelli and the rest of those jackass "analysts" know it...Many of you all are looking at the glass being half empty..Well look at the glass from the half full standpoint...Brunell can teach Ramsey a thing or two with his experience in the NFL...Ramsey has never had a good, seasoned verteran to learn alot from and I'm sure Rob Johnson taught him a thing or two but who's going to argue with me that Johnson is a better and smarter player than Brunell?? Plus Brunell has post-season experience and we all know there is a very good possibility that any QB in the league might not be in uniform come playoff time due to some kind of injury (regardless of Ramsey's unbeleivable toughness--one hit on any given play can end it all) So having Brunell when and if we get into playoffs next year is a HUGE benefit (even though he's lost both Championship games) Let us not forget Doug Williams was a backup before the playoffs much like Rypien...So I like the idea of having Brunell followed by Hasselbeck just for that reason...You CANNOT count and hope that you may have another Tom Brady waiting in the wings...Plus Gibbs wants good game experience, veteren QB's on his Roster and seeing Ramsey, Brunell and Hasselbeck I'm sure would make Gibbs feel real comfortable--Take into account our salary cap position and the most needed positions (mainly on the defensive front) and Williams has ties to Jevon Kearse and Ted Washington among others who we can use the $$$ for vereran, experienced and proven defensive players rather than using draft picks and the $$$ for a an unproven, inexperienced rookie (especially looking at who's available to draft--the defensive front does not look all that spectacular--and the offensive side for that matter) However I do NOT see us trading down from the #5 pick unless it's an offer we could not refuse--like I said in previous post I really, really do see us and I'M really, really hoping to use that pick on Kellen Winslow...Especially how Gibbs utilizes his TE's, Winslow is a perfect match
Overall I will welcome Mark Brunell with open arms and in my eyes it is a win-win situation
