I was offered Ronnie Brown for Clinton Portis... Is this a good trade with his health?

DON'T FALL FOR THAT TRADE. What has Ronnie Brown done to warrant the trade of CP? CP may be hurt now but he will be fine by the time the season rolls around. Keep CP because the guy who wants to trade is trying to play on the "well he is hurt and may not be back" trick.

You know I have Ronnie Brown he asked Ronnie for Clinton

He gets: Brown

I get: Portis

The way I see it is that I have a strong back up if Portis can't go.

I have Steven Jackson, Kevin Jones

I think Ronnie Brown is going to have a breakout season this year, but with the other running backs you have, I would trade for Portis. If he is out the first game or two, your other backs should fill in fine. Also, Ronnie's year will depend on Culpepper's health. If Harrington plays more I think that will hurt Ronnie.

Other things I would consider are how the bye weeks match up and each player's team schedule.

I think I'm getting a steal b/c I was gonna pick him in the first round. But he was taken so I took Steven Jackson. So basically a low 2nd round pick for a high 1st round pick who's out for the pre season.
