I don't remember. All I remember is being dropped off on campus by my parents, and then waking up at the front door of my office on a Monday morning many years later with a keg tap in one hand and a pair of underwear (which weren't my own) in the other.

University of Delaware - Party School

Went to more parties than classes at first. Look at my grades and saw a lot of "Zs". Z = "unofficial withdraw". That's the grade you get when you attend all of the parties, drink a lot, and blow off your classes and exams. Unfortunately, Z = F and, after 2 years, I had a whopping 1.6 GPA.

I left for 5 years, then went back at night, while working for the U.S. Postal Service. Changed my major from Accounting to Criminal Justice. Started out getting Bs and then eventually got As.

Graduated in 1992 (not 2002, thanks Redeemed) with a 2.7 GPA.

Somehow managed to get into law school with a 2.7 undergraduate GPA (cuz I did pretty well on the LSATs). This was the only law school I applied to because I attended while working full-time as a Probation/Parole Officer and I didn't want to commute to Philly. Had a more mature approach to studying and eventually graduated in 1997 with a 3.0 GPA.

Advice to other potential undergraduate - focus less on drinking and more on your classes so you don't waste 5 years of your life like I did!

Oops. Graduated from U. of D. in 1992, not 2002....though I WOULD LOVE to time travel some time!

The University of the South (also known as Sewanee).

Jock school? - It was once.

In 1899, with an enrollment of 300, they went 12-0 outscoring their opponents 322-10. Only Auburn, then coached by John Heisman, managed to score on them.

Sewanee was also a charter member of the SEC, when it formed in 1932.

Party School? - Most definitely!

Sewanee once held the top spot in Playboy's list of the best party schools in America for five years running. It was finally removed with the following note: "Sorry, Sewanee, but professional drinkers are not included in this list."

One of the characters in William Faulkner's novel "The Sound and the Fury" says about drinking:

I says no I never had university advantages because at Harvard they teach you how to go for a swim at night without knowing how to swim and at Sewanee they don't even teach you what water is.

Law school? - No, but I would substitute Academic school on your list.

I went to St. Mary's College of MD which is listed as a big party school....and I did party.....but when I got there they were trying to stop their negative image and you couldn't even play music after 11pm.

I managed a 3.47 GPA and graduated in three years, while working full-time and drinking more than the whole rugby team combined.....by the way, I don't reccommend that route.

In my 8th year (yet to pick a major or a minor for that matter )

I went to Salisbury University, but when I was there it was known as Salisbury State College. It was a party school.

As time has passed it became more of a jock school. 6 D-3 championships in lacrosse.
Also academics have greatly improved so my degree is really looking good compared to when I got out.

Plus the Marine Corps said that I could audition for the Marine Band and get paid to play drums without the degree.

Perhaps it would have worked to, if I had taken the audition seriously. Oh, and the fact that there was a waiting list a couple of years long even if I had passed my audition.

The military bands....especially the Marine Corp Bands are incredibly difficult to get into, and most members are grads from good music schools, or prodigy's!
