Buffalo Bills Offseason

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Buffalo Bills Offseason

Post by T-Nasty24 »

There was a member who asked me to enlighten you all on how the Buffalo Bills Offseason has gone so far. First off we fired our GM Tom Donahoe (He wasn't a terrible drafter (Brought in guys like McGahee, Losman, McGee) but never adressed the o-line or d-line witch led to Bledsoe leaving and Jp struggling) we hired the old Marv Levy to take over along with Co-GM Tom Modrak, they soon sent dumb ass Mike Mularkey packing and hired Dick Jauron (Coach of the Year 2001) Got a new offensive coordinator in Steve Fairchild (OC for St. Louis last season) and brought in Perry Fewell (Co-Defensive Coordinator in Chicago last season). Fairchild has a great backround ( Run heavy offense with Colorado, a Pass heavy offense with Mike Martz, and he is hoping to compliment both with our speedy recievers, and Jp strong arm. Fewell is bringing in the cover 2 defense witch you are all seeing through out the league. We started free agency off with a bang while releasing older players (Lawyer Milloy, Sam Adams, Mark Campbell, and trading declining Eric Moulds who was becoming a destraction in the locker room.
We went on to sign the speedy DT Larry Tripplett from the Colts to help our Cover 2 attacking Defense, signed athletic yet powerful C Melvin Fowler from Minnesota, also quick yet powerful G Tutan Reyes from Carolina, and speedy recievers Peerless Price (Dallas) and Andre Davis (NE). We drafted Donte Whitner from OSU with 8th overall pick (Reminds me of Sean Taylor, Speed (4.3 40), Big Hitter, and can make plays and take it to the HOUSE) he will take the rather slower Lawyer Milloys spot at SS, We traded with Chicago to get back in the 1st to select John McCargo (DT, NC State) almost identicle to Larry Tripplett (Size , Speed) in the 3rd we took Donte's teammate CB Ashton Youboty (Projected 1st rounder) has size (6'1) speed (4.4 40) hopes to take over Nate Clements spot after this season (He has the franchise tag) in the 4th we took Ko Simpson from North Carolina who is a ball hawk that also recieved a 1st round grade. In the 5th we took highly productive DT Kyle Williams from LSU and took O-Linemen with our next 3 picks.

Our Projected Starting Lineup

QB- Jp Losman
HB- Willis McGahee
FB- Daimen Shelton
WR- Lee Evans
WR- Peerless Price
TE- Robert Royal
LT- Mike Gandy
LG- Tutan Reyes
C- Melvin Fowler
RG- Chris Villarial
RT- Jason Peters

LE- Aaron Schobel
DT- John McCargo
DT- Larry Tripplett
RE- Chris Kelsay
ROLB- Takeo Spikes
MLB- London Fletcher
LOLB- Angelo Crowell
CB- Nate Clements
CB- Terrence McGee
SS- Donte Whitner
FS- Troy Vincent

I'm hoping my Bills can do good this season, but I am also rooting for the Skins, forget the Cowboys, Eagles, and Giants! Go Skins and Bills!

Thanks for the feedback

So the Bills fired the GM and couldn't decide if they wanted to go old school or get a up and comer so you hired both. Is Levy just a figure head or can they coexist as Co-GMs Mularkey for Jauron I don't know how that's ging to work out

O-line was a big issue for you guys last year but JP did hold on to the ball too long and was always making the right reads. Most of the Bills picks seemed to come out of left field but I don't follow them so maybe it was just me

Projection are made for the off-season and are normally incorrect but Peerless Price at WR for the Bills seems more like a revision than a projection

I'll keep a eye on the Bills but I only root for ONE Team

Dude, I really don't want to be a downer or a jerk or anything like that, but I honestly believe the Bills have a legitamate shot at the #1 pick next year...

Again, I don't want to sound like a jerk but IMO I think JP Losman is the worst QB in the NFL and without Moulds or Lawyer or big Sam Adams I see the Bills struggling this year.

Now I love Willis McGahee but who is he going to run behind?

Maybe you guys will prove me wrong but I honestly think you guys are in pretty bad shape this year, sorry.

Ive said it before and living about 50 miles from Ralph Wilson Stadium, i listen to the Bills radio staition quite freqently. This team is going no where fast, the biggest concern was the O line and it was barely addressed. They went out and hired a proven loser as a head coach in Dick Juaron. In the past 2 seasons they ruined there Qb in losman, Not to many people in the city beleive in him, now i dont know about the first pick but i do see them fighting for it.
GO SKINS GO!!
