1981-82 Redskins v. 2005-06 Redskins

Hear me out on this one.
Remember when Joe Gibbs came to Washington on January 13, 1981. Remember his first year? How did he start? O - 5? People wrote off the Redskins. They finished strong with an 8-3 finish and ended up 8-8.
The following year, in 1982, the Redskins continued what they started and you know the result: a win over Miami in the Super Bowl.
Fast forward to 2005. The Redskins, after starting strong, stumbled along the way and found themselves at 5-6. Once again, people wrote off the Redskins. Once again, they finished strong with a 5-0 finish and ended up 10-6, making the playoffs for the first time since 1999.
Here's what I see!
I see a great similarity between the Redskins of 1981 and 2005. Both teams were still learning under a new coaching staff. Both teams were slowly developing into JOE GIBBS teams.
Don't look now, ladies and gents, but the 2005-06 Redskins have, once again, become a JOE GIBBS team. That spells one thing:
C - H - A - M - P - I - O - N - S
The more and more I think about it, the more and more I am convinced that this Redskins team is poised to go all of the way this year.
Super Bowl win #4 is within our sights, folks.
How excited are you!?!?!?!?
