I have a question for the group:
Clearly neither of these teams are going to make the playoffs, and they both have superstars in Tejada and Soriano.
If you were the GM of either team, what would it take for you to trade away these stars?

I read that the orioles may look into trading Tejada to the Angels for the some minor league prospects. Which IMO is dumb. He is easily a top 10 player in the league.
I like both of these players, and I hope they both stay where they are.

Soriano's value is increased if he goes to the American League.
Tejada is money anywhere. I don't think the Orioles should throw in the towel just yet, though.
The Nationals are really good in bursts, too.

The Nationals should try to trade Soriano for young TALENTED prospects. Not just prospects.
The Orioles have no reason to trade Tejada.

For what? A whoopie cushion?
If the O's pull that off then they get the best deal of the deadline.

That would defeat the purpose of the word "trade", wouldn't it?
