See http://www.washtimes.com/sports/2006061 ... -7816r.htm

Turns out, ol' Johnny had more problems than what we knew. Hopefully, now that they've discovered the reasons behind the frequent quad issues, we'll have a healthy kicker all year.
It'd be a welcome change, that's for sure. Can anybody really remember the last time we didn't have any problems at K ? What, Lohmiller?

He should get intouch with that Grimsley guy in Arizona. He;s got some stuff that can get him 100% in no time.

i think our kickers are the only week link on the team... and that might not be good considering gibbs likes (and might ask saunders to deliver on) field position as a way to control the game. (though with saunders in control we might just end up in the endzone every time.)

From the same article:

One player who has caught associate head coach Al Saunders' attention is running back Ladell Betts, who is again slated to be a kick returner and backup to Clinton Portis this season.
"I don't know if people realize what a quality player he is," Saunders said. "He's a three-dimensional player -- he runs the ball, he can catch it and he can block well enough to be successful. Clinton is Clinton, one of the dominant backs in the NFL. Having somebody like Ladell has been a surprise because I knew he was good, but not this good.
"We'll have situations where Ladell and Clinton will be in the game at the same time. Ladell deserves to play and we've got to find a way to get him on the field and not just as a back-up player to Clinton."

I like the sound of a twin back set.

Hopefully Hall can get a few more touchbacks this year. That's something that really killed me last year, the return man was usually taking it from the 10 or 15 yd line!

I doubt if he'll kick off. If (as I think) Lonie is the punter, he'll kick off. He has a very strong, but not particularly accurate leg.

Twin?!?! Not only twin but Id like to see that "full house" formation thats in Madden. It has 3 backs in the backfield.

1. Portis
2. Sellers
3. Nemo/Betts

That would be sick.

I'd use Cartwright over Nemo.

It just depends on who really is a better blocker and power back and the play called.
