I think that was the most disgraceful, classless half-time show I've ever seen.
I'm no "moral-majority" bible-thumper, but there were a lot of children watching this game (and half-time show) tonight when that happened.
I was completely disgusted.

i can't call it that exactly, but i do understand kids were watchin.(hell, we were all born nude

) why dosen't mtv do that on their own network?

mtv, i hate that mainstream crap. anyways, maybe they don't get a chance to make the SB halftime suck anymore, but this is meaning for another thread, so i'll stop
was that the infamous "stipper", the one who is famous in europe before the second half kick off??? he always said he wanted to do a SB...
BTW is this janet or am i just drunk

The NFL is to worried about cell phones and sharpies and end zone antics... Paul T. will take a big hit for this one!!

INMO Thats alittle extreme. Whatever

I wish it was both. My life is incomplete now
I also wish the kids did not see that, but thats life. I am sure kids today see more than what was revealed last night.

Everyone that has a problem with this is just uptight. Plain in simple. Our society needs to relax it was just a (one) womens breast.
When we get all crazy about a little risque performance we only repress our children more amd make a breast (or two) a much bigger deal than they actually need to be.
everyone should calm down....
ps..now if justin went and grabbed that baby ...i could see someone being upset

I feel ya. People are making a big deal out of this. Its funny when grown men do it.

I respect your opinions but I disagree. If I wanted to see a woman's breast, I'd turn on HBO, Cinemax or go to a strip club.
An NFL half-time show is simply not the forum for this type of behavior. I would so much prefer seeing a marching band (a la Redskins marching band) perform at half-time.....especially if that bad performed like those in the movie, DRUMLINE.
That being said, I'm sticking by my guns. I am certainly not uptight...but I just feel that it was completely inappropriate.

If I wanted to see crap like this I'd go to a different website!! Why is there a Janet Jackson thread here?? This is precisely why JJ and JT did what they did so you'll would sit around and talk about it!! I'm here trying to teach and show my son about some Redskin history and news...now I have to screen the Around the League" forum?? Thanks!!

I agree DE... and I apologize to you and anyone else with kids on this board... some people don't seem to ounderstand that the 'PG' level maintained on this board is for that reason, and that this board is not solely for their own personal enjoyment.
I pulled the pic... Taz had already moved the thread out of the football forum for me... but hey, we can only moderate so quickly.
Grow up people... it was a boob shot from hundreds of feet away..... oooh... pretty special stuff... smart move on MTV's part... if you'd have asked me if some washed up has been could upstage one of the best Super bowls in history just by flashing her boob for a second, I'd have said that was crazy... but you're all feeding the hysteria....

You know what bothers me is the men who cannot see past their own enjoyment of seeing one single breast on National Television. I had a child watching that show. What do I do when he comes home in trouble because he tried to rip some girl's shirt off to be cute. The whole thing is nuts. And thanks for pulling that BossHog!

wow you sound like one of the parents that thinks children will do what they hear in music..

Are you saying they don't?

Children do what their culture and environment teach them to do. Music reflects that culture and in a way does influence behavior. It's up to us parents to teach our children right from wrong and to monitor what they see and hear and to make sure that they learn from those experiences. We expect certain things such as fully clothed people on CBS and it makes it more difficult to do our jobs as parents. I think Niki used an extreme example to illustrate her point, which is that this was no place for that type of behavior.

If you have that type of kid, get off the keyboard and seek counseling.
INMO some parents are looking for a scape goat for there failures.
Like Bosshog said Get over it people!!!!

Oh please! First of all my child is 2. Second of all do you have any children?? If not you have no right to make a statement like that. Society effects the behavior of children like it or not! And I'm not saying my child would do this. I'm saying that a child somewhere could use this as justification to do something outragous. And I will get over it when the network fines Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake at least what the NFL fined Joe Horn!

If your child is 2 then why are you worried? Let other parents worry about teaching their own kids right from wrong..

I heard that the Porn industry is going to do the SB halftime next year . . . that is if they can get some pointers (no pun intended) from Britney, Christina and now Janet.
Where has the girl next door gone.
