It ain't lookin' too good for James Arthur.
Just watched the announcement. What they do is start with the 15, then pare to 10, then 6, then hold a yes-or-no vote on those final 6.
Monk didn't even make the cut to 10.
This year's class is Bob Brown, Carl Eller, John Elway and Barry Sanders.

Monk will make it in sooner or later no matter if he wasn't liked by the media or not.Monk's numbers are are damn good enough to get in.He was the NFL receptions leader at one time for pete's sake.I will be there when they induct him.Finally.......

Monk was a class player for the organization and yes his numbers speak for themselves. My question is why is it taking so long, I have read where on here where on particular writer (Paul Zimmerman) is playing a big role in not getting Monk in. If thats the case, Zimmerman is a ho and a coward in my book.

I can't say I wasn't shocked but I just don't understand why he hasn't gotten a fair break. I hope he gets in next year. I just hope this pattern of dissapointment doesn't continue.

You should talk to TCWest. He's the one who pointed out Dr. Z's anti-Monk sentiment. I think Dr. Z might have some special ties with the 'pukes. It's a Conspiracy with a capital C!

Elway and Sanders should be in even though Barry never even got his team to the SB. Eller was good but Dexter Manley was just as good. Brown was one of the first really big o-linemen and wasn't that bad but didn't play all that long, 10 years I think. Should He be in maybe but not before Monk, or Grimm for that matter. It's a shame that some of the voters have a bias against true professionals who did nothing but produce championships.
