Name your two Suprise teams of 2006

Every year around November I see two teams that have done a complete turn around from the previous year. Like when the sorry chargers went from 4-12 to 12-4. Now I'm sure there will be 2 teams again this year. Which 2 do you think will improve at least 3-5 games. (In the case of Houston, at least 6). It's only the end of April but sometimes you can even tell when a team is gonna turn around right when they miss the playoffs. I remember the SKINS in 04, losing every game by 3-5 points and the offense just 1 reciever from being a power house. Now pick your two for 06. I wanna bring this thread back up in November.

Buffalo 5-11
N.Y. Jets 4-12
Baltimore 6-10
Cleveland 6-10
Tennessee 4-12
Houston 2-14
Oakland 4-12
Philadelphia 6-10
Detroit 5-11
Green Bay 4-12
New Orleans 3-13
Arizona 5-11
St. Louis 6-10
San Francisco 4-12

********************************

I'm going with

Houston - I think it's all about the coach here. They have a new one and he's good. I see dominic davis carrying touches with someone but at the same time being a big threat with short catches. I also believe they are going to make great improvments on their o-line in the next 2 months. Yup, a 6 game improvment.

Arizona - With the addition of Edge and that mediocore divison, I see thier defense stacking up tall against st louis and san fran. Their passing game was sick, now with a running game, they are bound to be at least 10-6

Ny Jets and Houston

Or

New Orleans and Miami

You can almost make a statement for every team though except San Fran but we will see.

Come on frankcal, that's not fair! You can't say "either/or" to this one! You gotta pick just two!

Philadelphia

Now that the T.O. fiasco is behind them, I expect Philly will once again be a contender in the NFC East. Don't look now, but we're gonna have the toughest division in the NFL!

Arizona

With E.J. in town, I expect the Cardinals will finish around 8-8, maybe even 9-7 this coming year.

I'll vote with my heart and say Arizona and SF, only because I want to see the rest of Seattles division rise up and hand them a couple losses.

You couldn't be more wrong about Houston, as long as Casserly is there they will be losers.

Miami was 9-7 so they wouldn't really be a surprise.

I completely forgot about Philly.
Oh well, I'll stick with my first choices because I hate Philly.

Love what Cleveland is doing and how much longer can Arizona be bad with all those great players?

So you're such an expert that you can tell someone that they're categorically wrong... and yet, I don't see a prediction from you.

How convenient. How audacious of you.

Name your two then. Perhaps it's YOU that couldn't be more wrong... it often is. :-"

I'm going with Cleveland and Arizona too. I personally struggle to see the Cards ever doing anything but there is just a ton of talent on that team in a division that is soooo weak... they have to improve significantly with so many weapons at their disposal... don't they?

As for the Browns... they're my number two team and I always follow them closely. Is it optimism that makes them one of my choices? Maybe a little, but they have made a lot of great moves this offseason... especially shoring up that o-line that has been weak for far too long. Hopefully the great fans of Cleveland will have something to cheer about again this year.

Cleveland and Arizona - primarily because it is going to tough for some of those other teams in the division games that will keep them at or just below 500.

I'm gonna go with Detroit & Baltimore (only if they get McNair)! Detroit has alot of talent on both sides of the ball and they're updraded at QB which I think was 1 of their main problems. Baltimore has a great coach, great defense & if they get McNair they might score more then 10 points a game!

If Baltimore doesn't get McNair then I'll go with Arizona!

I was impressed with New Orleans before the draft, even more so after the draft, also I thought Tennessee is going in the right direction again.

8) Arizona: Should have a potent offense, but no real defense. They'll be in a shoot-out every week!

 Oakland: I think Brooks fits the offensive style that Art Shell employs, smash mouth running with Jordan, then throwing. Unlike the New Orleans approach of throwing first. Plus Moss should return to form, still lacking consistent defense!
