What if....St. Louis Stallions

Back in the early 1990s, a group fronted by Walter Payton presented a bid to the NFL for an expansion franchise for St. Louis.
The team was to be called the St. Louis Stallions, and would feature blue, gold and white in their color scheme. There were even uniforms made and t-shirts were seen all over the St. Louis area promoting the new team.
Unfortunately for them, the expansions went to the Carolina Panthers and the Jacksonville Jaguars, thus leaving St. Louis without the NFL until the Rams moved to the Mound City, starting play there in 1995.
But, still, what if the franchise had been granted?
Could we have seen the St. Louis Stallions in the National Football League?
I believe we may very well could have, and I think the 'Skins would have beaten them, 9 times out of 10.
Five of those tem wins would have been on our home field, three of those at RFK.
Just think about it, and then let's talk about it.
