i thought so too ...i think i'll keep track of it and maybe rent it ....heck if it gets some good reviews i'll buy it ......pretty much bored with MADDEN ......IMO they don't do enough to the game every year to justify me spending $50.00 on it.

EA is a joke and so is the NFL for giving EA a monopoly. It pisses me off to no extent that all we can buy is Madden.
EA consistently cheats people out of money.
The Xbox360 version lost all of the features of the PS2 version and I GUARANTEE you that EA will slowly implement those features over the next couple of years and act like they're new and ground breaking. They did the same thing in 2001 when Madden 1st came out for the PS2.
NFL2K5 FOR EVER!

The coach game? I haven't/have no interest in trying it.

So, putting my detective skills and amazing intelligence to work here, CLL, I'm sensing you're not the biggest EA fan?

Just because it's EA doesn't mean it's going to be a bad game. In fact, even with all of their marketing tactics considered, EA still puts out a great sports game IMO.
Like I said in the other thread about this game, I'll be very interested in trying the coach game. Anything that taps into football strategy is going to catch my eye.

No, Im not a fan of Electronic Arts. They buy up all the talented development teams and whore out their games on an anual basis.
Madden is almost always the best option out there but I was sad to see them get the NFL exclusive.
EA has yet to fix the MAJOR bugs that plague the game year after year.
- Mario running
- Suction blocking
- god AI (Kyle Boller turns into Dan Marino in the 4 QTR)
- CPU can't run the ball for squat
- Broken trading system
- god like DB's who cover multiple players at once and can jump 11 feet in the air
One thing that definately irritates me about Madden is how the AI effects each other. Lets say Moss is being covered by C. Bailey. In Madden C. Bailey is the superior player but instead of C. Bailey shutting down Moss the AI compensates for Baileys "better playing" by actually making Moss play worse than his ratings say he should.
Oh yea and in Madden 06 Will Allen is faster than S. Moss.
