George Mason basketball standout Jai Lewis was not among the players at Redskins Park yesterday, but he is generating significant interest from NFL clubs as a prospective tight end, team and league sources said. Lewis, a premier high school football player, is being monitored closely by the Redskins, team sources said, and they will keep tabs on him leading up to the draft

Well, I say him in the Final Four and that guy is a beast, no doubt.
He looked like he had smooth feet and good body control.
However, once you have on pads and a helmet and it's NFL Paced action, I'm not sure if he'd really work out. But I'd take him in the 7th.

Sure why not. It'd be nice to find an Antonio Gates

Well, it would also be nice to find a John Elway, but just because we are drafting a former basketball player does not mean he will be the next Antonio Gates.

The last thing we need is a TE -- who hasn't proven he can play. He hasn't even proven he can play at the college level. Gates was one of those 1 in 10 years kind of pick ups..don't think that's gonna happen a lot.
