Well I'm thanking God this morning for no one being killed on the plane or on the ground. I was sitting in a building less than a mile from the crash site!!

And I'm sure that a few of the early morning commmuters might have suddenly found themselves with an extra "sandwich" packed about the time that puppy came down! But thank God that the fuel didn't catch, or we'd be seeing it up here in New Castle.

I think 17 people were on board and 10 were taken to the area hospital? Thankfully, no one was killed in this crash. I credit the pilot and co-pilot for saving lives by steering the plane to the ground with the wings level.

Wonder how long it will take crazyhorse1 and the rest of the Left to spin this as Bush's fault.

If I were you, I would not hold my breath considering this happened nearly a month ago.

...so I look at the picture, think of my uncle who served almost 40 years in the Air Force, with most of it at Dover AFB, and sigh with relief that no one was killed. Miraculous.

But, no, the only thing that matters is whether this helps or hurts George Bush?

While no one was killed there are still three members of this flight who remain in the hospital and one who may never walk again.

It must have taken some amazingly skillful flying to land that mega-plane.

Best wishes and hopes for all the hospitalized airmen.
