If you had to pick a new name for the Redskins, what would it be. (Sorry, it's the off season)

1. Washington Woodchucks
2. Washington Wombats
3. Washington Wiggers (Seriously, have you BEEN to a game lately?!!)

I would not care what they would call them. They'd still be the Washington Redskins in my book.

I like the Americans name.

(yes, I was raised in Arkansas)
are also good names.

I wouldn't pick a new name because it won't happen. It will always be the Redskins

How about no name change, but add a disclaimer!

The Washington (with the utmost respect to Native Americans) Redskins.

By the way, I have a problem with the term Native American. I was born here my parrents, their parrents, and their parrents were all born here too. So doesn't that make me more of a Native American, than an Irish American? When you get right down to it, no ethnic group is "native" to North America the only difference is time and mode of transportation. So if your ancesters walked here instead of taking a boat does that make you Native American!

Seriously, stop with the name change stuff. This isn't going to happen and by continuing the conversation you feed into the liberal media/academia hype....
