Don't feed the trolls.

Something this stupid is clearly meant to ruffle some feathers. Just ignore this and let it die.

Okay, I'll bite. I think you're wrong.

Here's my take.

1.Cowboys
2.Giants
3.Eagles
4.Redskins

Joe Gibbs will be fired at year's end to boot.

Here's my prediction:

1. Redskins
2. Giants
3. Cowboys
4. Eagles

I think the Skins are the best all around team in the division. Our NFC East best defense will lead a balanced and dynamic offense to a stellar record. At one point in the year last season, the Redskins fielded the #3 defense and #5 offense in the league. The team remained in the top 10 and 15 respectively all year. The Skins have improved at the TE position, the hiring of Al Saunders, and the influx of talent at WR and special teams with Randel El and Lloyd, may lead to one of the top offenses in the league.

Saunders has orchestrated the #1 or #2 offense in the league consistently over th past 7 years. As WR coach with the Rams, he is well accustomed to making sure that 3 dynamic receivers can all get the ball. He also found creative ways to get guys like Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson in the endzone. Though Moss' production may drop off, Randel El, Lloyd and Moss should all have great years. Expect another good year from Cooley, and Portis may have his best year ever. In the right system he can put up over 1500 yds and 10 TD's.
(13-3)

The Giants are the second best team in the division. They didn't get any worse on offense and actually improved their defense this offseason. If Eli takes the same learning curve of his brother, he should improve over last season with 2 years under his belt, improvement is likely from Eli. Tiki Barber is not losing a step and Shockey should be healthier this year. Their defense has complimented their pass rushing ends with a secondary who can actually cover. Surtain, and McQuarters replace underperformers in the secondary. Antonio Pierce will return from injury and his presence will help. I doubt their defense will create another +13 or greater turnover ratio which will likely lead to a decrease in scoring. The Giants have a lot of holes. Their O-Line is shaky. An injury to Barber, Burress or Toomer could turn the Giants into the Eagles of 05.
(10-6)

Cowboys were an inconsistent team last year. I think the loss of Larry Allen will hurt their alredy shaky running game. The loss of Glover on the defensive line will hurt their defense. The Boys will dissappoint, but TO will have a good year. Julius Jones can't stay healthy for 16 games and without 10 time pro-bowler Allen, their inside run game will expose the young back to even more punishment. Roy Williams is a liability in pass coverage and the cornerback play leaves much to be desired. Terry Glenn will no longer be the only receiver getting his nails done before gameday with TO coming to town. The weak coverage secondary in Dallas will have trouble again with the faster receivers in the division like Randel El, Lloyd, and Moss.
(9-7)

4. Eagles: This team has the cockiest management in history. They think they have a well oiled machine with interchangable parts, but last year proved that injuries to any key starters renders them a bottom dweller of the league. The loss of T.O, will not be mitigated by the return of Todd Alligator Pinkston. They are very thin at some key positions and are aging at others. They consistenly let good players get away and have not replaced them. While McNabb rebounds from an injury year, the E gals struggle to a (7-9) or worse finish.

Hence the term "pre" diction. This is the first week the Skins haven't signed anybody...the troll tried to bait us into a flame thread, I'm just making a good ole fashioned, on record, early as heck prediction so that people can point and laugh at me if Im wrong.

I think the Skin's will win the NFC East. After that who cares.

How about the AFC North. Here's my prediction.

1. Cinncinati
2. Clevland
3. Baltimore
4. Pittsburgh

After losing A.R.E. the Steelers crash.

Laugh? No, I think your predictions were intelligent, thoughtful, and accurate. It is a bit early for predictions for next season (the draft hasn't even happened yet!), but your analysis was as good as it can be at this time of the year. One thing's for sure; this is no cakewalk division. Every team plays the rest of the division hard, regardless of record. I'm glad Coach Joe respects the rest of the division well enough not to get caught unprepared.

I am not worried about Dallas at all, the Giants are going to come in 2nd and get a wild card and the Eagles will sux.

yeah you may be right, the Skins haven't done too well in free agency. they'll be fortunate to win a single game this year

They made the second round of the playoffs, and signed players that address their weaknesses. Just the Steelers won the Super Bowl and it makes you feel superior to everyone, doesn't mean a playoff team that improved in it's weakest areas won't be that good. Your the one that needs to get over yourself.

Maybe you should worry about the lack of improvement by your team.

My 2 cents

Randle El - over paid and over rated
Archuletta - best years are behind him and over paid as well
