next tuesday on FX at ten ....man i can't wait for this show .....any one else looking forward to watching this show ???

Gotta watch it, It has to be good if it's the Shields off season replacement.
Besides, the ads looked really good.

Can't wait to see it. Always loved Andre Braugher on Homicide all those years ago. Interesting idea, too.

I found this much:
Linda Hamilton and Michael Rooker have signed on for FX's drama pilot "Thief."
The pilot stars Andre Braugher ("Homicide: Life on the Street") as a veteran robber rounding up his team for a new heist.
Hamilton will play a fence who works with Braugher's crew. The "Terminator" star earned an Emmy nomination and two Golden Globe nods for her work on CBS' "Beauty and the Beast."
Rooker is set to appear as a detective leaving the force under the cloud of an internal affairs investigation. The "Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer" star last appeared on the small screen in the telefilm "Saving Jessica Lynch" and on the big screen in "Undisputed."
Both characters would be recurring roles, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Malik Yoba, Mae Whitman and Will Yun Lee also star.
The pilot for "Thief" was written by Norman Morrill ("Providence"), who will also executive produce along with Gavin Polone and Vivian Cannon of Pariah. Paul McGuigan ("Wicker Park") will direct the pilot.

Saw the preview. After that 2 minutes, I hate to disagree with most of you, but I think it looks lame. Sorry.
I just don't see a potential plot line that could possibly develop that would keep me interested week in and week out.
Maybe I'll be wrong. Hopefully I will be.
I'll give it a shot and watch it, and make my final determinations later.

plot they stole mob money and the mob will want it back .... some people will end up dead .... what more do you want ???L.O.L. ......

If that's the case, that would be cool. I just didn't pick that up as a plot line in the preview.

i have a good feeling about it ....as i did when the shield first started ....so give it a chance and let me know what you think .....next tuesday at 10 PM on FX

Can't wait for tonight. Just found this description of the show on imdb.com.
Andre Braugher stars as Nick Atwater in "Thief." Atwater is an extraordinary criminal and he heads an extraordinary crew, professionals so cool and collected they've largely been able to keep their home lives separate from their day (oftentimes night) jobs. But as their heists get bigger and riskier, the line between their personal, protected identities and their dangerous line of work begins to blur.

sounds like it will as intense as the shield really can't wait for 10pm
