First off, best show of all time. Huge huge fan.

But the season finale was on last night, and I gotta say.... OUCH! Was anyone else dissapointed as much as I was with the end?

I couldn't believe what happened to Lem. I have very mixed emotions about the whole thing. I'm going to miss Forest Whitaker next year, as he had a great cameo this season.

this show rocks ...... dissappointed no ....... shocked yes .... looks like shane & vic are finally going to but heads next year .....forrest was AWESOME ...did not hear he was not coming back ...... anyone who has not seen this show much watch it ....it's on spike tv at 10 ....man did this season like every season fly by

It does fly by... but I was also shocked/dissapointed... I really liked Lem... You know Vic is gonna find out... there wont be any mak'n up with shane this time.

ps~I think the twist will be that Lem is actually still alive but unconscious, I think they were just shocked to see him like that and the paramedics had not arrived yet. So he goes back with burns all over and eventually wakes up.

maybe .....did you think that the baby would be vic's or someone else ? lem imo is done. i liked him too but thats life (or death) in this case,what has impreesed me the most is that the writers continue to keep you on the edge of your seat every week,there has not been a boring show yet

Yeah I thought it was vics from the begininng... yet for some reason I was still shocked when she said it was.
I with glenn close would come back, she did a great job in the show, of course not as the captain. Next season is gonna be nutz!
oh and... what ever happened to that one temporary strike team member who shane clocked upside the head with the iron. He was like the only black guy who was on the strike team 2 seasons ago...

I didn't hear that Forest wouldn't return, but I didn't think his character would be around any longer. Who knows?

Jack Bauer is pathetic and that show has terrible acting. Of the 2 shows I watched this season, the airport siege was the worst. Who gives himself up for one pathetic kid? Even worse in this whole episode is that Bauer let the bad guy get away when the other Feds stormed the airport!! You don't check on how the aforementioned kid is doing, you kill every terrorist in sight! Terrible counter-terrorism. 24 was a good idea originally. Now its just terrible because they have run out of ideas to fill 24 hours of scripts.

jack would end up in a body bag from a "gang hit" and vic would walk off smiling.that show "24" is ok just not into it any more.

i jsut started buying the shield on DVD got season 1 and 2 man to watch it NEVER gets old

your right, it nevvvvvver gets old. I just watched the marathon on spike and loved every minute.

I don't see Forrest Whitaker coming back next season. His character's role would not have a job to do at that point. Think about it, the money train, Lem was going to take the hit for it. With Lem's (presumed) death, there is no further to go for an internal affairs investigation. On the show, Lem would have to be presumed dead, as the police tape was already up, etc., and it was now being treated as a crime scene. Were Lem still alive, they would have photographed the scene and allowed the paramedics to come in, do their thing, and transport him to the nearest emergency room. The fact that he was left in the car says it all for him. But Shane is going to be walking the tightrope next season.

Well dont you think he could be back because of his personal vendetta against vic?

i think he comes back ....just for the fact hes not a indemand actor.
