woah..... i guess since they couldn't beat the patsies on the field, they could try to do it off the field.

I can't believe the Patriots let Vinitari go! He's the best kicker in the game! Their general manager is an idiot! Above all they don't get anything for him! SO STUPID!!!!!!!

Well, history suggests that the Patriots aren't idiots, but this is a surprise to me. I would hold on to a kicker as good as this, whatever the cost.

im up here in NE and people are sad but we all agree he wasnt getting paid squat and it was time he got a big pay day as thanks from the leauge for being the best clutch kicker ever! i dont think the pats are stupid for letting him go but rather greatful for the time he was here and willing to let him go so he can make the big bucks that NE cant spend on a kicker... they have other pressing needs

Actually, Vanderjagt has the highest accuracy rate of any kicker in NFL history, so this thread's title should read "from the Colts." Vinatieri could be the best "clutch" kicker ever, though.
