Knowing Jerry Jones I think he will grab T.O. for sure. Probably within 2 days....if not 2 hours.
In my mind thats perfect. How fitting that that @$$ will wear a star on his helmet. I can't wait!

I think Drew Bledsoe is one of the classiest people in the NFL. As far as I can tell he invented the trend (or at least popularized it) of taking out newspaper space to thank the fanbase that supported him.
I would hate to see the Cowboys get Owens if only because Owens would smear him in the papers and I fear it would tarnish Bledsoe's legacy...

This is why Key getting cut is BS. He'd never let someone get away with that.
Wasn't right. This was a Snyder-like move and I don't like it one bit.

So many of you Skins fans are happy he's going to Dallas and think he will mess up that team. Well, be carefull what you wish for! I don't like T.O. and I'm glad he is not a Redskin. But, I have a strong feeling he will clean up his act and if he does it will help the cowboys a bunch. I would much rather him go to a AFC team and not have to face him, maybe once only.

So, I guess the discussion about departures and ingratitude in Pukeland in the Ramsey thread is over now, right?

Well, no matter what team Terrell Owens goes to next season, he will be the perfect player for at least one year. Won't make any waves, will give top notch production, it'll be another lovefest. Beyond that, there are few guarantees. The Eagles could've nipped their problem in the bud with a simple acknowledgement that they got him for a steal in the first place and put a less than market offer down for him. Sitting on thier cap room and trying to ignore the issue self destructed that relationship just as equally as T.O.'s antics.

Well, I already have an idea of what his TD celebrations will be (midfield star celbration he did with the 9ers). The question is, will the Dallas fanbase froget what he'd done in the past to them. It will be interesting to watch.

He was a model citizen in Dallas for the time he was there and a leader at that.
The worst thing he did was yell at Bledsoe on the sideline and at the end of the game they were laughing about it.
I can see why JJ let him go, but I disagree with it wholeheartedly.
I hope he re-signs like he said he'd give Dallas the chance to do.

TO has never really been a factor against us like I always thought he'd be.
He gets punk'd pretty easily.
The man is his own worst enemy, and that enemy has lots of company.

What was Jerry Jones thinking?
This question, of course, presumes that he even was thinking. Not about the kavorka of a receiver with unmatched physical skills and a penchant for ringing up touchdowns, but about the manner in which the receiver will mesh with the rest of the team's employees.
The early reaction to the signing of Terrell Owens among the group that counts the most -- his new teammates -- is strongly negative. Strongly.
Part of the problem is that Owens is a well-documented locker room miscreant, a guy who can't be trusted to follow the rules that apply to the domain in which 53 oversized men sweat, shower, shampoo, sh-t, and shave. He publicly called out one of his quarterbacks, and he publicly called the other one gay.
Football players aren't necessarily rocket surgeons, but they generally have good instincts. And if a guy smells like a turd and looks like a turd and acts like a turd . . . well, you get the picture.
Complicating matters is the perception among Dallas players that Keyshawn Johnson, who despite his own flaws was well-liked in the Dallas locker room, was jettisoned by Jerry Jones in an effort to land T.O.
But perhaps the biggest factor fueling discontent among the Dallas players was the absence of coach Bill Parcells from the press conference that introduced Owens as the newest member of the team. Regardless of the actual reason for the Tuna's non-attendance, some of the players (and "some" might be an understatement) interpret his absence as a message that he disagrees with the move.
In our view, Parcells needs to make a statement -- quickly -- embracing Owens. If he doesn't, more and more of the players (we predict) will conclude that this is the latest example of the subtle power struggle in which Jones and Parcells have engaged for the past three years.
The difference is that this one could blow up the relationship permanently, especially if the players refuse to even give Owens a chance until the coach gives him a thumb's up -- and if the coach refuses to take his fist out of his jacket.
