Rival Fan Sites

I was looking at the other NFC East teams fan sites to see what they were saying about us and found it to be quite funny. Anyway, I saw on the cowgirls board a post that someone got from KFFL.

It says that M. Washington reworked his deal to save us 2.5 mil and the team has a way to save us 10 more. I guess this answers were all of this money is coming from

I've been checking out other sites lately and is the whinning incredible. Especially the Bears site, their complaining about how we "stole" all their free agents. It's pretty pathetic. But I can't say that I'm not enjoying every minute of it!

The NFL, NFL Network, all the press (local & national) and all the other teams in the league can just lick my butt.
I'm tired of the whining. We've been a league doormat for several years now and it's about time we take our righful place in this league.
Sorry, but, as huge a Skin fan that I am, if I owned the team and had the resources that D. Snyder has, I too would spend and invest whatever it took to bring a championship to DC.
So rock on Danny... and the rest of the world can just eat it!!

Remember, he gives other teams a ton of his own money so that they can stay competative. I beleive that he should have a couple of special favors coming his way from a lot of people. He saved their as&'s

Fans from other teams are just jealous, here is an example. Two of my friends that are huge bucs fans called me today and said "crap, you guys are really loading up on good young talent and we're looking at T.O." and one of them, who is a generic gambeler placed a $100. 18-1 bet today that the skins will win the superbowl. seriously LOL.

That thread is really funny, they have no clue what they're talking about. They act like we're taking money away from our players when in actuality we're GUARANTEEING more of it by giving them a roster bonus and then spreading it out. They have no clue!

Every fan of every other team as well as the media always say that this will eventually catch up to the skins... has it? Nope, and with next years cap going up another 7 million, the fans just have no clue.

The weird thing about all of this is that as a Redskins fan when I don't understand how something works I get the facts so I do understand. I love going to all the different Redskin sites and reading up on the news. How can these "fans" of these other teams be this ignorant?
Another interesting issue is the fact that most of these fans seem to forget who is in charge now. Joe Gibbs is the only coach to win 3 Super Bowls with 3 different quarterbacks, so he already has worked with free agency in a way.
Gibbs brings validity to this club and an abiltiy to mesh player personalities to the extent that everyone wants to help in whatever way they can. He gives the players something to believe in. Something to feel and to taste if you will!

Just think about it for five seconds - they're Giants and Cowboys fans. The Cowboys fans are the funniest, "now I don't really know how to read too good but this has to be illegal and unethical. An ethical question for the board.
I've always lived by the adage that character is defined by what you do when no one's looking. In other words, just because you can get away with something doesn't mean you should do it.
Unfortunately, the business world is full of unethical people who will always find a way to manipulate and find ways around any law or regulation imposed. It's what makes lawyers rich, and hated. It's the same with taxes--just because you can exploit loopholes in the law doesn't mean you should.
My question is this:
Clearly when the salary cap was put in place it was intended for a noble purpose. As you review the quote above surely what they are doing is technically legal, but in your opinion is it right? Does it not violate the very spirit with which the law was intended?
For me the answer is a clear yes, and it's a dam shame.
I may not be a millionaire, but my ethics and character are worth more to me than any of that. Simple life lessons Danny Boy never learned.
What are they talking about? Ginats fans are just retarded.

Right on man I agree with you. I'm tired of all these scumbags complaining about how we stole there players. Every team can do what the Redskins do. The fact is that Mr Lovie Smith did not return Randel El call. Randle El gave the Bears and the Steelers the chance to match the offer the Redskins gave him. Players make the choice of where they feel is best for them. Its not the Redskins fault that other teams aren't agressive. So yeah all I say it to all the people complaining get used to it.The Redskins are back.
