No way Lavar doesn't get picked up in free agency. But of course I'd love for him to come back to the 'skins - I bought his jersey two weeks ago!!

i would absolutely be thrilled if he came back... but i doubt that would happen... may be too much bad blood there. never know though... he may give the skins a chance to come close to any contract he gets.

Im kind of curious as to why no one has signed him yet....does anyone remember him saying that he would retire if the Redskins were to let him go? Anyone think that will happen?

I wouldn't take that statement seriously. LaVar is an emotional guy, and was always saying stupid things he didn't really mean.

Sam Huff has loved Lavar from the first day that we got him. And with good reason.
If there is any chance that Lavar would sign a new contract with the Skins, he'd better have his agents check it twice, and actually read it this time. . .

on talk radio this evening... the beat writer from miami said he expects the dolphins to pass on lavar... he said the dolphins view him as too expensive... not worth the money he was seeking....

I think it would be hilarious if he either settled for a veterans minimum deal with the texans or just retired because no one wanted him.

I'd love to have him back. He's a guy who loves the area and loves the Redskins. He's just a bit burned up.

I just saw this on SI.com
"The Bengals could be on the verge of making major headlines if they can land arguably the top-rated linebacker on the open market, LaVar Arrington. Talks between the Bengals and representatives for Arrington are believed to be in the early stages, but things could heat up real soon."
and
"There are some interesting theories floating around regarding LaVar Arrington and the Giants. One involves a conflict of sorts between the front office, which is leaning toward trying to sign Arrington, and the coaching staff, which is not sure he will fit in with the defensive scheme. Arrington also may be at his best playing in a 3-4 defensive scheme, where an outside linebacker can find himself uncovered at the line of scrimmage.

Lavar was on some radio station this morning talking about how he will still be around helping the community and stuff, and then started talking about some of our pick-ups.
He said ARE is a very very classy guy, and he actually went to the hospital to vistit his cousin (I think or nephew) the day before he died. He Said he was filling in for him, since he couldn't make it. Aslo talked about how great a guy Carter is, and how big of a pick up it was.

Isn't Lavar looking for new representation, now that his agent got banned from the NFL for 2 years?
