The reason why they haven't signed yet is because they got to Redskins Park at 6:30. Here's the link to the article (no it's not just another article about Lloyd).

I like:
"With Royal's departure, the Redskins, who are in the market for a more blocking-oriented tight end, according to league sources, expressed some interest in Dallas' Dan Campbell, and could also make a move for Justin Peelle (San Diego) or Marcellus Rivers (Houston) among others. . . . "
Peelle looks good...

Just finished watching the wiz destroy the Pistons, towards the end Cerrato was clearly visible in his redskins red right next to the pistons bench, with a guy who I'm guessing was Andre Carter. Cerrato is working those old 49er connections hard this off season.

The Red Sox GM, Theo Epstein took closer Keith Foulke out to a Bruins game during free agency a couple years ago...
If a guy goes to a social even with some of your people for the purposes of just hanging out, you're usually in. This is good news.
I still wish I knew what position Carter would play!

If you read the notes at the bottom of the article it says that Dan snyder paid 10,000 for those seats, and that there were several free agents attending the game, not just Andre Carter.
Here is the quote:
Notes:@ Washington's 59 first-half points equaled the most allowed by the Pistons this season. ... Jeffries missed his third straight game with a strained left calf. ... The Wizards' last home win against Detroit came on March 14, 2001. ...
Several free agents being courted by the Washington Redskins sat in the so-called "dream seats" next to the Detroit bench in the second half. Redskins owner Dan Snyder paid $10,000 for the seats.

Owner Dan Snyder also treated receiver Antwaan Randle El, linebacker Andre Carter, safety Adam Archuleta and quarterback Todd Collins to Saturday night's Washington Wizards game against the Detroit Pistons.
Snyder spent $10,000 on four "dream seats" next to the Pistons bench, and Archuleta and Randle El sat there with Redskins players Chris

ey and Jason Campbell in the second half. The other players watched from a luxury suite with Redskins coaches and front office officials.

Damn, I like Snyder's style. Especially having Campbell there too chilling with Randle El.

Business wise, he is the man. If is scary to think just how stacked our roster would be if there was no cap in the present day NFL. Not realistic, but it is fun to fantasize.

Take a nice long look at the 3rd guy from the left, Yes! Thats the Redskins future right there, baby! In the picture Cambell is not holding a basketball program, it's next season's playbook with a few plays to El. Btw, many people were wondering who our 3rd string QB is going to be, 4th from the left.

You tell that rookie to not bring his playbook out to NBA games. Coughlin is probably reading over his shoulder.

I always had the feeling they were gonna sign EL and after this picture was released it was a clear tell sign. Cambell will have some serious targets to throw to next season Moss, EL, Loyd, Portis,

ey.
