Hey ya'll,
I haven't seen anything about this, but, I was listening to sports radio down here (Orlando). They were talking about the failure of the negotiations about salary cap, and said that regardless of the outcome, the Redskins will HAVE to field TWENTY ROOKIES this year!! They were talking about the upcoming "bloody Thursday" and all the big names that were going to have to be jettisoned, and kept coming back to the skins.....TWENTY ROOKIES?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!
Any GOOD reliable info on that from those closer to the actual information?
Thanks

I invite one of the more knowledgeable capologist to PLEASE DEBUNK FAT LENNY for us. As soon as you see the article is writeen by Lenny "Please pass the Jelly" Pasquarelli you know he's going to write from the players union perspective and he's going to take shots at Dan Snyder. It is a given. So please, someone explain to me what I know must be typical Lenny bunk.

This is precisely why this garbage is written. Because people get all frantic and run all over the internet promoting Lenny's article.
We will be forced to cut some players, but geezus we were cutting most of them anyway. What sucks is that we will be hindered in FA and not be as Deep as we would like, but the face of the team will not change.

I gess my question was in regards to if there really was any basis for Lenny's claims because he didn't offer any specifics at all. Sounded like another of his famous potshots he loves taking at Snyder.

What's hilarious is how Peter King is kissing Gibb's A on the "Gibbs Exclusive" video on Redskins.com TV...he goes up to him and says "Hey....." then goes into some BS question about whether Al Saunders meshes with what he wants to do.
Uh, give me the mic Peter...that is the dumbest question ever. If he didn't "mesh" he wouldnt have been brought in. What was Gibbs supposed to say, "NO, he doesn't fit, thats why we signed him for 3 mill a year". What a buffoon, then that will turn into a story just like Lenny's that will say "Gibbs Unsure If Saunders Meshes".....and again everyone will panic and run around the internet promoting it.
It's all a cycle of BS

It was funny this morning when a buddy of mine told me there was a big article on ESPN talking about the CBA and how "the sky was falling" etc. I swear to you, I turned to my buddy and said, did Pasquarelli write it? He says, yeah. Then I said, let me guess, he also came up with some theory on how the Redskins and Snyder were in big cap trouble and they have oversepnt, yada, yada, yada, right? He said, Yep, you nailed it! Lenny is a broken record. How on earth he has become a prominent ESPN writer is beyond me. But hey, when's the last time the NY Times picked a Republican President to win? The media is not exactly unbiased anywhere is it?

Come on guys. What would we do without the likes of Lenny and King? They help us be the underdog. Let them do their bashing while we quietly build the next dynasty. Then we can point our fingers at them, laugh and belittle them when they try to flip-flop.

Yeah... keep paying money for their rags and supporting their drivel.
Why should a journalist ever have to be right to keep a job?

Allright guys, thanks for the cool out. I nearly had to change pants after listening to that one. I could not imagine trying to play in todays' NFL with 20 rooks.....*shivers*.
