Hey, I'm not sure if it's been posted yet...but I found something interesting. I've got like three minutes till I have to go back to work...so....here it is!

Saturday, February 25

It cannot be stressed enough how much of the Combine is about networking. Our first order of business on Saturday morning was an interview with Vinnie Cerrato. Vinnie pointed out that two years ago the Champ Baily-Clinton Portis trade was executed here. Last year, the Laverneous Coles-Santana Moss trade happened in Indy.

It's really a time for everyone who is anyone in the NFL to be in one spot and communicate freely.

Later, we spoke with Gregg Williams and he said he tries to avoid the "scene" of the combine. He'd rather put his nose to the grindstone and concentrate on football.

In the Redskins suite, the entire coaching and scouting staff was on hand. Joe Gibbs was down near the field sitting next to Bill Cowher.

Is JGibbs already working his magic to get a hold of Randel El? [-o<

Well actually, I don't think Gibbs sitting next to Cowheer has anything to do with Randle El... El is a FA, so technically he's not Steelers property anymore. We can't trade for Randle El, and if there is no CBA signed, we probably won't be able to sign any FA either.

READ THIS ARTICLE and then people will realize how much trouble we're in if their is no CBA...

Good point, he's probaby just rubbing it in to Cowher then! :)

I hope the whole situation goes towards the Skins....if we're unable to do business in FA, we're screwed.
That'd be like the end of JGibbs' world!

Both Gobbs and Cowher known for being strong christians. Maybe they were just talking as friends since a common job and faith would give them a LOT in common. Just a thought.

Gibbs probably was asking about what type of guy Randal El was in the locker Room. Given our cap situation Randal El might be the fix we need. If hes not asking too much maybe we can get him or if the contract is structured right.

Dude, given our cap situation we are in deep crap.

I really don't think we have any shot at getting Randle El, when the Eagles who have way more cap room and will be able to offer him a ton more money are going after him as well.

Just like everyone wanted/thought we were going to get Reggie Wayne, I don't think we'll be getting Randle El either.

However I would run 1,000 cirles if we did.
