I have a pretty good computer, I thought I had all the latest software...

I can't play the vids on redskins.com.

I have NO problem with any other videos, but the ones on Redskins.com play for 3 seconds, stop, load, play and stop again...

What software do I need? I poked around the site for like 20 minutes looking for a link to download. Nothing.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Try down loading quick time player,media player,real player.I have all three and it's not much my computer won't play.I hope you don't have dial-up.

Nope, I have high speed internet from my school (which surprisingly lets me play these videos on most campus computers, but not the one in my room... odd...

If it is playing then its not a problem with your codecs. Make sure you have the latest version of flash. Also make sure that you aren't downloading anything else at the time. Its a streaming video so anything else that is CPU or bandwitch intensive will affect the video. So stop downloading the pron when watching skins.com.

How do I check to see CPU or bandwith use?

Have you tried other sites to see if you have problems downloading on them?You could have a firewall issue or your virus protection could be blocking it out.

No disrespect but how old are you? I only ask because pron is a "popular" way to spell porn in a lot of forums and mostly by younger people.

I dont know if you're familiar with "leet speak" but its some weird type of internet language that makes you cool on the net.

The words "hax0r" for "hacker" and "sux0r" for "sucks" are the most common references; more generally, to mark a term as cracker-speak one may add "0r" or "xor". Examples

"Gotta go reboot those b0x0rz."
"Man, I really ought to fix0r my .fetchmailrc."

CPU bandwith can be checked by going into task manager to see how hard its working. You can look at your processes to see whats eating your RAM.

If the video is playing then my best educated guess is your internet bandwith. Please know that you're sharing the bandwith with your fellow schoolmates, you dont have your own dedicated line. If one of your dormmates is file sharing or downloading 500megs of porn via bittorrent then you're speed will suffer also.
